For the READERS only

2Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord IS that Spirit
.....and where the Spirit OF the Lord is, there is liberty.

The Lord is the WORD of God
The WORD of God is the SPIRIT of God.
Neither Word nor Spirit are PEOPLE.
Spirit cannot be a people but the MENTAL disposition of a Being
God IS a Spirit Being. A Spirit Being has a MENTAL disposition. That Spirit is NOT another people
The SPIRIT of that ONE Divine Being is Mental Disposition of that ONE being.
The Spirit OF God is also defined as the BREATH of God
The BREATH of God is not another people
God as a MENTAL or SPIRIT Being can BREATH (spirit)
The Son IS that Spirit because the Son articulates or GELLS the Breath of God.
My MIND is my SPIRIT: my Spirit can BREATH out spirit.
My Words are the GELLED Spirit (breath) of my spirit (mental disposition).

EVEN NOW THINKING WITHOUT READING IS FOOLISHNESS: I'M TIRED.

2Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded:
.....for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away
.....in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
2Corinthians 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
2Corinthians 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

Old Testament blinded the Jews because they refused to listen to THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT which was SPIRIT.
SPIRIT is the New Testament opposed to FLESH

2Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord IS that Spirit
.....and where the Spirit OF the Lord is, there is liberty.

2Corinthians 3:18 But we all,
.....with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
.....are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
.....even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The WORDS of Lord the Spirit are the words of the Spirit OF the Lord

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:
.....the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.

1Peter 1:10 Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
1Peter 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time
..... the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ,
.....and the glory that should follow.
1Peter 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things,
.....which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel
.....unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven;
.....which things the angels desire to look into.

2Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
2Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:
.....but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

We need to own the LIBERTY Jesus died to give us: the command from the wilderness onward was to PREACH the Word by READING the Word. God knew that people cannot resist denying that UP does not outlaw DOWN.

Because NO MAN was capable of being Intercessor, God sent His ARM which, like spirit or breath, is not another people.

Paul outlawed doubtful disputations or human opinion as having LIBERTY when the command is to "use one mind and one mouth to speak that which is written for our learning."

Disputing implies a questioning mind and suggests an arrogant attitude by those who assume they're always right. Arguing with others in the body of Christ is disruptive. That's why Paul spent the first part of chapter 2 on humility.

Dialogismos is used 11 times in the Septuagint (LXX) (Ps 40:5, 56:5, 92:5, 94:11, 139:2, 139:20, 146:4, Isa 59:7, Jer 4:14, Lam 3:60-61) Dialogismos often means the perverse, vain thinking which contemplates destruction (Ps. 94:11), and is turned against God (Jer. 4:14; Isa. 59:7) and against the godly (Ps. 56:5).

Commenting on Phil 2:14, MacArthur notes that dialogismos...

soon developed the more specific ideas of questioning, doubting, or disputing the truth of a matter. In Romans 14:1, the word is used of passing judgment on another believers opinions and in 1 Timothy 2:8 it is rendered dissension. Whereas grumbling is essentially emotional, disputing is essentially intellectual. A person who continues to murmur and grumble against God will eventually argue and dispute with Him. (MacArthur, J. Philippians. Chicago: Moody Press)

NIDNTT notes that...

In the NT dialogizomai (related verb) and dialogismos are always used with a slightly depreciatory connotation. The thoughts of the human heart do not necessarily lead, as the Greeks thought, to a knowledge of the truth (cf. 1 Cor. 1:21-25), but are evil (Mk. 7:21; Matt. 15:19), full of doubt and suspicion (Mk. 2:6, 8; Lk. 5:22; 6:8), moved by the passing moment (Lk. 3:15), full of greed (Lk. 12:17; 20:14), always concerned with the superficial (Mk. 8:16f.; Matt. 16:7f.) and full of sly [or silly]calculation (Matt. 11:25; Mk. 11:31).

That's why Peter gave everyone the LIBERTY to Shut them Up.

If the change churches really want to grow they can look at the history of the International Churches of Christ.

Wow! They really grew! The older disciple would "discipline" the subordinate partner to the extent that it became a cult. Spying, intrusion, coercion, and loss of liberty. . . .

To grow we need to be "connected." "Unconnected" people are sure to leave the church!

Does doctrine and strong belief system have anything to do with some staying? Does loss of belief have something to do with leaving.

Just so the brethren are connected. . . .

The International Church of Christ gave up, and said that they had utterly failed. Corrosion at the top, disbelief in the "founding family."

The lack of respect for individual autonomy.

This does remind us of "top-down" programming, done at some many "a-changing churches of Christ."

John says that ANTICHRIST denies the ONE GOD (Theos) and ONE LORD (Kurios). He further says that the Holy Spirit Comforter is Jesus Christ the Righteous.

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Professors from Harding University are teaching Southwest to be DELIGHTING IN THE HOLY TRINITY. Mac Sandlin presennts Delighting in the Holy Spirit (people). As usual Mac is big on rhetoric but has gone no further than lift the usual verses out of context which shows no intention of letting Jesus speak especially in John 4.
