PSALM 74

A Maskil of Asaph.

O God, why hast Thou rejected {us} forever? Why does Thine anger smoke against the sheep of Thy pasture?
2 Remember Thy congregation, which Thou have purchased of old, Which Thou hast redeemed to be the tribe of Thy inheritance; {And} this Mount Zion, where Thou hast dwelt.
3 Turn Thy footsteps toward the perpetual ruins; The enemy has damaged everything within the sanctuary.
4 Your adversaries have roared in the midst of Thy meeting place; They have set up their own standards for signs.
5 It seems as if one had lifted up {His} axe in a forest of trees.
6 And now all its carved work They smash with hatchet and hammers.
7 They have burned Thy sanctuary to the ground; They have defiled the dwelling place of Thy name.
8 They said in their heart, "Let us completely subdue them." They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
9 We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet, Nor is there any among us who knows how long.
10 How long, O God, will the adversary revile, {And} the enemy spurn Thy name forever?
11 Why dost Thou withdraw Thy hand, even Thy right hand? From within Thy bosom, destroy {them!}

12 Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth.
13 Thou divided the sea by Thy strength; Thou broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
14 Thou crushed the heads of Leviathan; Thou gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.
15 Thou broke open springs and torrents; Thou dried up ever-flowing streams.
16 Thine is the day, Thine also is the night; Thou have prepared the light and the sun.
17 Thou hast established all the boundaries of the earth; Thou hast made summer and winter.

18 Remember this, O LORD, that the enemy has reviled, And a foolish people has spurned Your name.
19 Do not deliver the soul of Thy turtledove to the wild beast; Do not forget the life of Thine afflicted forever.
20 Consider the covenant; For the dark places of the land are full of the habitations of violence.
21 Let not the oppressed return dishonored; Let the afflicted and needy praise Thy name.

22 Arise, O God, {and} plead Thine own cause; Remember how the foolish man reproaches Thee all day long.
23 Do not forget the voice of Thine adversaries, The uproar of those who rise against Thee which ascends continually.
A Church of Christ is defined inclusively in the Prophets, certified by Jesus and left for our memory: that is why the church is built upon or educated by the Prophets and Apostles both defining Messiah and His kingdom which does not come with religious observations but only through "making the manifold wisdom OF God known."

As JC noted, God breathing into the writing prophets is called the 'Spirit OF Christ' or the mental disposition of Messiah. If you want to walk in the steps of Jesus you will be a School of Christ (understood by the Campbells) where "worship is reading and musing the Word." The Spirit or Mind of Christ is conveyed only by the message of Christ.

Isaiah 1 defines baptism in the same sense that Jesus did in Mark: baptism is TO those who believe and Paul wasn't sent to baptize those who did not believe the "testimony that God left of His Son."

Malachi speaks of the baptism of spirit (wind) and fire which John promised only to the Race of Vipers.

Mal 3:1 BEHOLD, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

Malok (g4397) mal-awk'; from an unused root mean. to despatch as a deputy; a messenger; spec. of God, i. e. an angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher): - ambassador, angel, king, messenger

Mal 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a REFINERS FIRE, and like FULLERS SOAP:

Mal 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Jacob cursed the Levites and God abandoned them to worship the starry host and fire: They believed that they heard gods and were purified when they burned innocent goats and innocent infants. Hundreds of years before Moses and the abandoned Civil-Military-Clergy the condition was:

Gen. 49:8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.
Gen. 49:9 Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

Mal 3:4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

Mal 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

WAGE EARNERS WERE NEVER TITHED.

Is.40:3 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Malachi shows that God will wash us like a FULLER to make us white as snow. Mark begins the GOSPEL with the word ARCHE which means the fundamantal and most important point to we who are NOT SELECTED MESSENGERS. Mark then begins to speak of the baptism of John which REMITTED SINS as did the baptism after Pentecost. Jesus was also baptizing through His disciples BEGINNING IN JERUSALEM.

The baptism by the SPIRIT of Judgment and fire was for the generation of VIPERS who did not repent IN ORDER that he would baptize them.

When the Spirit of Christ causes "unqualified" people to speak in tongues as a JUDGMENT AGAINST the generation of vipers, it DID Not continue because the SIGNS had been revealed to the four groupings Jesus commanded to preach and baptize.

Matt 3:1 IN those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

Matt 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jesus and everyone preached the GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM or CHURCH: No one PREACHED "Just Jesus and Him crucified."

Matt 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his PATHS [PATTERN] straight.

The Path or Way or Road is the Reign and Kingdom created by Jesus as the prophesied Son of God. The way is a pattern which is opposite to the Jews whom God abandoned at Mount Sinai.

Of Elymas the sorcerer as defined by the literature:

Republic [364b] and disregard those who are in any way weak or poor, even while admitting that they are better men than the others. But the strangest of all these speeches are the things they say about the gods and virtue, how so it is that the gods themselves assign to many good men misfortunes and an evil life but to their opposites a contrary lot; and begging priests [Parasites agurtes CASTRATED begging priest of Cybele, “Mētros a.” AP6.218 (Al.); “Gallois a.] and soothsayers go to rich men's doors and make them believe that they by means of sacrifices and incantations [SONGS always attached to SOOTHSAYING or SORCERY] have accumulated a treasure of power from the gods that can expiate and cure with pleasurable festivals

DOES THAT DO A DING DONG IN YOUR HEAD?

Acts 13:10 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, [thou] child of the devil, [thou] enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right WAYS of the Lord?

2 Peter 2:15 Which have forsaken the right WAY, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the WAGES of unrighteousness;

Matt 3:4 And the same John had his raiment of camels hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.

Matt 3:5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,

Matt 3:6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.

The Jewish (not Israelites) clergy along with the MULTITUDES heard only Parables. Jesus said that truth had been hidden from them from the beginning. They were the declared enemies of God and His Word.

THE SUBJECT OF THIS DISCUSSION:

Matt 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Matt 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

Don't think you are predestinated!

Matt 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

GOD'S JUDGMENT was upon the ROOTS of false Judaism. Jesus would be the BRANCH from the true ROOT.

Matt 3:10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, [WIND] and with fire:

BAPTIZE WHOM? The seed of the Viper!

How does Jesus baptize with with SPIRIT and FIRE? He uses a "fan" for blowing WIND or SPIRIT and then you BURN UP the chaff.

Matt 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Is.4:4 When the Lord
1. shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion,
2. and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the SPIRIT of judgment, and by the SPIRIT of burning.

In J.C. post: This Psalm is still warning the people about the Babylonian and other myths:

12 Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth.
13 Thou divided the sea by Thy strength; Thou broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
14 Thou crushed the heads of Leviathan; Thou gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.

This also speaks of Egypt:

Ezek. 29:3 Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.

It should come as no surprise that Because the Jews came out of Babylon and were being returned, it should come as no surprise that the Jacob-cursed and God-abandoned Levites as the PATTERN for your worship minister has spooky connections. The Levites were also an old infant burning priesthood and at Mount Sinai reverted to type. The Levites were forced to execute 3,000 of the "brethren."

h1949. M…wh huwm, hoom; a primitive root (compare 2000); to make an uproar, or agitate greatly:—destroy, move, make a noise, put, ring again.

Tehum has the same meaning as Tiamat

Phoenician Tehom is formed with the feminine ending from the Hebrew Tehom, ' deep,' thus obtaining a Phoenician equivalent of the Babylonian Tiamat.

This will not be upsetting if you grasp that Moses wrote and INVERTED account of the Sumerian-Babylonian religion which began to destroy pastoral society and collect them around Pyramids or Ziggurats as the ONLY place they could LAY BY IN STORE most of their labor to hire the singers, instrument players, cooks, exorcists and prostitutes to BRING YOU INTO THE PRESENCE OF THE GODS.

Notice that much of the Bible is written in forms of parallelism. Scripture could be used in a form of the enlightened Presbyterians who LINE OUT the text: the caller reads the text or part of it and the responders repeat the whole or part of the verse. This is what Paul meant when he and everyone commanded SPEAK that which is written for our LEARNING. Learning is the only Driving Purpose for an Ekklesia or Synagogue which RESTS which includes refreshing as a SKHOLE.

Job 26:4 To whom hast thou uttered words?
.....and whose spirit came from thee?
Job 26:5 Dead things are formed from under the waters,
.....and the inhabitants thereof.
Job 26:6 Hell is naked before him,
.....and destruction hath no covering.
Job 26:7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place,
.....and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
Job 26:8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds;
.....and the cloud is not rent under them.
Job 26:9 He holdeth back the face of his throne,
.....and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
Job 26:10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds,
.....until the day and night come to an end.
Job 26:11 The pillars of heaven tremble
.....and are astonished at his reproof.
Job 26:12 He divideth the sea with his power,
.....and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens;
.....his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
Job 26:14 Lo, these are parts of his ways:
.....but how little a portion is heard of him?
.....but the thunder of his power who can understand?
Job 27:1 Moreover Job continued his PARABLE, and said,
Job 27:2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment;
.....and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;
Job 27:3 All the while my breath is in me,
.....and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
Job 27:4 My lips shall not speak wickedness,
.....nor my tongue utter deceit.
Job 27:5 God forbid that I should justify you:
.....till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.
Job 27:6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go:
..... my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
