Isaiah 1 has the same message as Mark 16: after all it was the same Spirit of Christ and these prophecies were made more perfect by Jesus of Nazareth whom God made to be both Lord and Christ.

Jesus named the CENI as "command them to teach what I have commanded to be taught."

The GOSPEL whis is defined clearly especially in Isaiah was PERFECTED when Jesus declared that believeth AND is baptized shall be saved. Believeth here means COMPLY.

He that believeth not is the Greek Apistos which means a TREACHEROUS person or one in REVOLT just like Isaiah 1. The Hebrew includes all of the deliberate challenges to God. Those who impose musical instruments CHALLENGE Jesus Christ because He dares not speak for Himself when the "elders teach that which has been taught." They even claim in the popular Blackaby Experiencing God Personally heresy, that they ARE greater than Moses or Greater than Jesus Christ who fulfilled His mission in His time.

That fits perfectly with the fact that the Theiron (or Beast) is NOT an animal but "a new style of singing or drama." That is an ABSOLUTE certain for anyone permitted to read the Word of God.

Ken, It isn't Jesus that is being challenged. It is you who is being challenged.
Your teachings do not parallel those of Christ.

Dave, can you take Ken's post here and show us in minute detail how his teachings do not parallel those of Christ? If you accuse someone of false teaching, then you should be prepared to defend your accusation. Merely saying "You're wrong" in so many words just won't wash.

Christ never taught that music was/is evil. Ken teaches that ALL music is evil; therefore Ken's teachings do NOT parallel those of Christ.

What else can I do for you William???

Don't worry, Dave. I'm sure all readers will take your extensive and exhaustive analysis of Ken's posts to heart: "Ken teaches that ALL music is evil." I guess that says it all.

When the Musical Minstrels tried to "aid" Jesus He cast them out "more or less violently as one ejects dung."

That fulfils His prophecy in Isaiah.

He called the Sribes and Pharisees, hypocrites and pointed to Isaiah and Ezekiel 33 version which names Speakers, singers and instrument players.

That is THE meaning of a HYPOCRITE: a rhetorician, singer, instrument player or actor.

You are correct: he NEVER said "thou shalt NOT be a hypocrite." Feel better.

Since there is a LAW OF SILENCE then most people are TASKED to get a Phd in How to Be a Hypocrite and Negotiate for wages.

I don't think He cares how many instruments you play and sing and whatever: He asked the sleepy disciples "Could you not tarry with Me for one hour?" If you can't tell the difference between a bluegrass festival and "School of Christ" then let's hope that God has a Juvenile court for MOST institutions.

I just don't want to be next to you Ken when you tell God about how you wanted it to be...instead of the Way He prescribed it.
You be sure to tell him about your definition of a hypocrite too, ok?

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
......All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore,

and teach (disciple) all nations,
By:
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
AND
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, [In Holy Spirit Form]
even unto the end of the world. Amen.Matthew 28:20

Since Jesus didn't command anyone to MAKE MUSIC while He is still our only Teacher,
if you are a Disciple OF Christ you will be able to grasp that this is a Divine Assertive Statement.

If you have made it past Reeding and Righting 101aaa you will understand not to INCLUDE what He did not command: that would tell HIM that you have a right to AMMEND what He taught and that will get you a hot seat in the Lake of fire.

If you want to hear Christ through the Prophets condemn instruments and instrumentalists as robbers and parasites, you will have to be a Timothy and attend synagogue and hear the prophets read every REST day. I have proof positive that Christ has put the Prophets and Apostles OFF LIMITS for any preacher willing to impose what he knows will sow massive discord. That's fine with me: Many (most) are called but FEW (miniscule) are chosen meaning "tested as by fire."

Since MOST (close to all) have missed the first several chapters you can predict the book-reviews of those who have several Phd's in only the last chapter. Your preacher told me what an elder told me when I pushed a large congregation through a review of the Old Testament: He says "If it don't mean nothing to me it don't mean nothing." They are PLANTED to take away the key to knowledge.
