The Holy Spirit in the gospel of John Mary Ellen Pereira ... reira.html

Jesus freed males from the role of domination that belongs to the fallen WORLD, in order that they can be truly male. On behalf of women Jesus acted as the model human standing against the patriarchal system, bringing women into the new order where sex distinctions no longer determine rank and worth.
This new paradigm, however, has not always been realized. From mainline Protestant churches to obscure fundamentalist groups, from Roman Catholics to Pentecostals, Christians for the past two thousand years have dealt with men and women of all ages, classes, and ethnicity who struggle with issues of the new order.

I have done a quick study on the rise of the SECT called "Gender Inclusive and Egalitarian Churches of Christ."<b> ... hrist.html

In fact it is Gender-Conlicted men with no role and no dole who try to veil the idea that BOTH male and female are to be SILENT and PEACEFUL so that "we might ALL come to a knowledge of the Truth."

It is sad, but they just tell Christ in prophecy and Paul that they are liars and WE know better because OUR Culture has changed. Wow! culture is always a changing on us. The problem is that they are not and cannot be CHRISTIANS which are DISCIPLES of Christ. A disciple of Christ obeys the command to "teach and observe what HE commanded to be taught. That is a short period each week which gives the PATRIARCHIAL or WORD or SPIRIT people a time to worship which is UNIQUELY to give attention to the PREACHING of the WORD by the READING of the Word for comfort and doctrine.

To take people's money under the pretense that you are going to FORM THEIR SPIRIT is blasphemy at worst and robbing at best.</b>

Musicologist note that a new style of debased gospel music arose out of the Second Great Awakening which history would definle as an outbreak of demonism. Effeminate men and "disenfranchised women as their supporters" began composing sentimental, weepy or clappy types of Songs which abandoned the Psalmody Only as the last urge to obey direct commands.

BUT, is this a salvation issue? We disciples never ask that question.

We have noted that Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is WITHIN you and the kingdom does not come with observation\

Furthermore we are WASHED in Water INTO the Word: That means that we are baptized to be accepted as a DISCIPLE (only) of Christ (only): Isn't that the CENI of the Great Commission?

Colossians 1:4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
Colossians 1:5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
Colossians 1:6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

Colossians 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Your salvation cannot be aided by performing Religious Observations. Therefore.

You salvation depends on whether you JUSTIFY GOD (don't call Him a liar) by accepting the Testimony of His Son: The Testimony of Christ is the SPIRIT of Christ: it is not another "people" but the mind or mental disposition of Christ. Therefore, it is folly to try to FORCE FIT the Scriptures into "what we do or we gonna do or what we think." If you do not honor the testimony God gave to His SON then you call god a LIAR. That IS a salvation issue.

Early self-composed HYMNS intended to praise God by REPEATING what God has done and recorded, or taught Biblical Doctrine. That would be a vast improvement on modern sermons who use the tactic of 'now you see the text and now you don't.'
Too bad that all of those Newly-Minted Worship Ministers hired to replace the vocational leader, instead pick good melodies even if the lyrics teach doctrine.

Whatever you decide to do, the SANGING - CLANGING form of modern churchy music cannot change the fact that:

That whis is written for our learning and comfort is the COMMANDED TEXT.
There is no METRICAL "that which HAS been written text" in a tuneful sense.
Therefore, we know that no one until after the Reformation DID or COULD sing any of the text.
Self-composed songs split the church and were rejected by church Councils.

THAT is absolute proof that no Bible Scholar had any reason to think that singing was an ACT OF WORSHIP: "G.C.Brewer: if you don't perform that ACT you sin."

So, why not LEARN from all of the recorded history: then you can do whatever you wish but the GROUP cannot contribute to your salvation NOR can it appease God (that legalism concept)

God doesn't care how many SELF-REDEEMING sacrifices you make: it has nothing to do with Him.

Psalms 50:9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
Psalms 50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
Psalms 50:11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
Psalms 50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

Modern exegetes do not agree in this matter. For a time many would admit no metre at all in the Psalms. Davison (Hast., "Dict. of the Bible", s. v.) writes: "
<font color="#FFFFFF">.....
though metre is NOT discernible in the Psalms, does not follow that rhythm is excluded".

This rhythm, however, "defies analysis and systematization". Driver ("Introd. to Lit. of O. T.", New York, 1892, 339) admits in Hebrew poetry
..... "no metre in the strict sense of the term".
..... Exegetes who find metre in the Psalms are of four schools,
..... according as they explain Hebrew metre by quantity, by the number of syllables, accent, or by both quantity and accent. (from The Catholic Encyclopedia)

Up to the Edict of Milan (AD 313), the psalms were interspersed with lessons.

By the time of Gregory I (circa 600), the Mass and Office had assumed a fixed shape and antiphonal psalmody (the chanting of a psalm alternately by two choirs) and responsorial psalmody (when the congregation responded to a psalm sung by a cantor) were institutionalized. The distinction between these types later faded.

A Cantor is a Chanter: The Jews cantillated which is Paul's SPEAK. Both singing AND melody (or grace) was IN THE HEART to specificially exclude the external meaning of Psallo which is a warfare word.

You could not sing TUNEFULLY nor could you accompany ANY of "that which is written for our LEARNING" (Rom 15 which defines the assembly inclusively and exclusively.)

In the 16th century, Protestant churches encouraged congregational psalm singing by adopting metrical versions in the vernacular. An important early translation was Clèment Marot's, the basis of the Calvinist psalter. A repertory of tunes came into being; these were set in a simple chordal style in collections which included Loys Bourgeois's complete psalter (1563), widely recognized as a standard version. Some later settings were more contrapuntal; Le Jeune and others dropped the tunes and composed what amounted to free motets.

It is a documented fact that most age-groups, especially the males began exiting the 'worship service' when a few people decided to introduce A New Style of Praise Songs since EDUCATION with that which is written was OUT and worship defined as WORKING REALLY HARD in producing music.</font>
