Paul commanded "that which is written for our learning" in Romans 15. Therefore we CAN be infallible and can all "speak the same things" by speaking that which is written.

People LIMIT Jesus' CENI by claiming that they have the right to make a law where Jesus has not made a law and you are bound to obey that law or cast yourself out of your synagogue.

Because they have VIOLATED the command to PREACH the Word by READING the Word, and have composed their own songs and sermons they are simply blind that God reserves the right to be the Teacher and our role is to be a Disciple: a disciple of Christ old enough to apply to Him for entrance should be old enough to know that disciples are students and not ceremonial legalists: the laded burden and rest words in fact specifically makes a law to regulate those who are not capable of reverence and Godly fear.

In another forum on the word INFALLIBLE, the problem with Missionaries in strange places seems to justify violating the direct command to READ the word and the direct command against Private interpretation of further expounding. It is a fact that with the Bible many groups have read themselves into the truth without someone to ENHANCE the Word of God in song and sermon.

The only way to be INFALLIBLE is that everyone SPEAK THE SAME THINGS which means SPEAK THAT WHICH IS WRITTEN (Rom 15 and the NOT-musical passages.)

Rom. 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak,
......and not to please ourselves.

Areskos or Placeo outlaws rhetoric, singing, acting or playing instruments.

Rom. 15:2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Edification here means ONLY education: no human can supply a jot or tittle..

Rom. 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,

This is the only resource both inclusive and exclusive.

......that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Rom. 15:5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
Rom. 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit:
......and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

No: all you are authorized to do is to READ it and let the words stand. The NAME of Father, Son, and Spirit (thought, breath, word) is Jesus Christ.

The NAME of the another COMFORTER (parakltos)

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, (parakltos)
......that he may abide with you for ever;

John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you

1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin,
......we have an advocate (parakltos) with the Father,
......Jesus Christ the righteous:

The only person guided by The Holy Spirit is guided by Christ the Spirit who claimed that "My words are Spirit and Life." The Spirit OF Christ is the Mind of Christ (1 Cor 2). The Spirit of Christ rides along with the Words of Christ.

In Romans 15 where SELF-pleasure outlaws all of the performing arts, and commands using "one mind and one mouth" to deliver "that which is written." Paul calls that "Scripture." If you are in the jungle you MUST have a valid translation: you cannot invent doctrine.

Eph. 4:21 If so be that ye have heard him,
......and have been taught by him,
......as the truth is in Jesus: that's the Spirit OF truth
Col. 2:7 Rooted and built up in him,
......and stablished in the faith,
......as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
2Th. 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast,
......and hold the traditions which ye have been taught,
......whether by word, or our epistle.

1Tim. 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to (public) reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

Titus 1:9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught,
......that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Titus 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers,
......specially they of the circumcision

The word CONVINCE does not mean to sermonize and counsel endlessly but to REFUTE HIM and DISQUALIFY him. Claiming to fellowship all kinds of error is really arrogance.

In the Qahal or Synagogue or Ekklesia words which define the ASSEMBLY no one was permitted to make up the subject material to be presented: that came from a higher authority. If anyone tries to sing with our without instruments in either they would be hurt really bad. Rhetoricians occassionaly got loose in the Greek ekklesia to present their own veiws but were all frepudiated.

The Campbells defined:

Church is A School of Christ (that's what disciples of Christ do--ONLY)
Worship is reading and musing the Word: (that's what diciples of Christ do)

The pattern for the Church in the Wilderness and exampled by Jesus was:

Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Luke 4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

Baptism was designed either:

[*]In order "to fulfill all righteousness" (Matt. 3:15) in the case of Jesus
-------------------------- or -------------------------

[*]In order "to remit sins that are past" (Rom. 3:25; Acts 2:37,28) and be added to the church (the body) of Christ (Acts 2:41,47)
Was Jesus sprinkled to "fulfill all righteousness"? NO!!!

Were the early Christians sprinked or had "holy" water poured over their heads three times in order to have their sins remitted and be added to the church? NO!!!

I realize that there are many other issues related to baptism, such as who should be candidates for baptism. Should the baby be baptized? Or, does the baby have sins to begin with? Let's save that for another thread or post. But for now, let's prove which one is the scriptural mode of baptism.

Baptism (while defined as "by immersion") is only "by immersion" in Scripture. Not only is "be baptized" a command or a requirement in order to have sins remitted. Not only is the fact that there are numerous examples of "baptism" shown in Scripture.

... But also is the NECESSARY INFERENCE or IMPLICATION that baptism is by immersion:
Matt. 3 [16] And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Mark 1 [9] And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. [10] And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Acts 8 [38] And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. [39] And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
