Hello All.

A Saga Event is being held on Saturday 26th April 1014 In Canterbury, Kent.

Located at the Virginia Woolfe block, Canterbury Campus, University of Kent .

Map here - http://www.kent.ac.uk/maps/canterbury/index.html - look for D6 Woolfe College.

Start Time - Sign in between 9.00am to 9.30am for a 9.45 am kick off

The plan is to have an enjoyable, friendly day of Saga games in a loose tournament setting.

All official published Saga war bands, heroes of the Viking age, swords for hire, banners etc etc are allowed.

There will be 3 games through the day, to allow for a more relaxed event.

Three scenarios will be used, A modified Sacred Ground, One of my own, and one other to be confirmed as yet.

All you need to do is sign up below, and then bring a 6pt warband along for your use on the day.

We do have the potential to provide some war bands to borrow for the day, but these would ideally need to be prebooked so we can make provision. Let me know if required.

Basically, if you want three games of Saga, in a friendly relaxed environment, come along. You even get to meet your friendly Moderator....

Cheers, John.

Having met Ducat John a few times, seen how he treats the game and having tried a few of his scenario idea, I am 100% positive that this will be an amazing day!!!!

Very tempting!

I have been there before for a different game but had a great time and it was a well organised event (same organisers :D ).

Ah John this sounds like certain Wargods events that took place in the dim past and were very much enjoyed. Not sure about this date but will try and make it.

Hello 'John of Kent',
Much as I'd like to join in, Canterbury is a bit too far for a day return trip for me.
However, I do applaud the format of 3 two hour games (rather than the usual four 1.5 hour). I know I'm slowing down with age, (although me SAGA play is speeding up), but I believe that I'm not alone in finding one day tourneys too frenetic when 4 games are played in a tight timescale.
You beat me to the punch because the next tourney the "Templars" would host was planned as three 2 hour games.
Cheers,
Karl.
