Quick question, a 2r17a with the timken axle...remove the tires, then the small bolts on the hub...or can I just pull the drum off...service manual isn't clear....going to inspect the brakes friday...

any other tips?

have one wheel cylinder leaking, so I plugged the line off, and got better brakes, plugged the other off, and have good brakes....well, at least enough to drive it ....

The small bolts hold the axel in. After removing the bolts, hit the axel with a big hammer. That should make the axel "pop out". There are 2 large axel nuts to remove to get the drum off. Jim
