Silas had found himself staring into space for a little while after his lunch break. His father seemed like hadn't arrived back yet. That was a good thing in the light haired teen's eyes anyway. Partly because , it meant he wouldn't get yelled at for sitting around for a few moments. Slurp the bright eyed man's drink cup had sounded after man had absent mindly sipped at it a few times. When his father did appear the bright eyed teen had let go an annoyed sigh. After he had thrown away his trash the bright eyed man had wondered over to the spear station for a little while. When he had locked eyes with his father his father had started to wonder over. Upon seeing that the light haired man had quickly picked up a spear from the rack. Upon seeing that event his father seemed to move his path to bother another slacking teen.

After his father had passed behind him the teen had chucked the spear at the target. Thunk the blade had sounded after it had pierced the target on the dummys gut.Silas had stared at the spear for a few moments before he had picked up another one. Swoosh after a breathe the blond haired career had thrown the spear toward the lined up dummies once more. Thwack the bladed part had sound once more after it had hit one of the dummies straight on the chest target. As the sound of his father yelling at some poor fellow reached his ears the man had picked up another spear. When he had become bored the teen had taken his spear to one of the set up practice dummies. Woosh the light eyed teen had stabbed the dummy in the gut. After the move had span around and slashed at the poor dummy a few more times.

Vermillion stepped into the training center and paused, her glossy lips curling upwards as she breathed in a lungful of the synthetic air. There was the familiar smell of bladed weaponry, sweat, and of course, determination. As her round, brown eyes swept affably across the area she marveled at the others that were among her as they refined their skills. Her attention kept returning to one student in particular, a blond-haired young man who was annihilating some practice dummies with a spear. Tilting her head, she stood and watched him from a distance as he slashed away, clearly more focused than some of the others she'd seen during practice. Having never seen the guy before, and being the bold person she was, she ran her fingers through her dark waves several times before approaching him.

On her way to him, she snatched a spear up from the weaponry and joined him at his side. "Show me." She said simply, head high as she kept her eyes forward at the dummies, clearly expecting a quick answer. After all, training was something she took very seriously (it was the only thing she took seriously) and she wanted to know all of the best tricks and maneuvers. And by the looks of it, this dude knew what he was doing. "What you just did. Show me it." Was she flirting? Perhaps, but that was just her nature. She had ulterior motives here; she wanted to learn.

The blond haired teen had let go an annoyed sigh after he had stopped for a moment. He could still hear his father yelling at another boy. Silas so wanted to yell at his father to stop but , he knew that wouldn't go over well. So, as usual the blond haired teen had kept his mouth shut. As far as he was concerned it was the kid's parents problem if they didn't do anything. Then , if the parents did nothing it would be partly their fault if the kid ended up mentally scared. Aw well not my problem had been the blond haired career's thought on the matter. The only person who really had any control over his father was his mother. But , Silas had just figure she would end up saying that his father was doing his job. Thus , another reason the blond haired teen had deiced not to even brother.

Silas was taken back a little by the sudden words from a girl that just seemed to appear. For a few moments the bright teen had kept silent. A silence that had come with a look of matching confused that had painted the boy's handsome face. " Show you what?" The blue eyed boy had started to ask after he had adjusted his grip on the spear. " The spin move?" The tall fair skinned man had went on to add a second after his first response. Finally his father had stopped yelling at the poor thirteen year old boy. Good work ,team work is good practice so, keep it up." his father had called at the girl and him before he had wondered off some where else. Silas had chosen not to respond to his father for various reasons. One reason reason being the fact that he was in a conversation already with someone else.

The conditioned air felt good on her skin, and spear in her palms felt even better. It was good to be back in training, it was always good to be back. Training was her one outlet for stress relief - the one thing she took seriously because, after all, it was a life or death situation. Vermillion adjusted her grip on the spear, lifting her eyebrows and turning to face the blond-headed boy. "Show you what? The spin move?" An annoyed sigh pressed from her glossy lips, but she collected herself and kept her eyes trained on him. "Duh," she said casually, lifting her shoulders and she waited expectantly for her lesson. Just then, a man called out to the both of them, praising them for their team efforts. Vermillion turned her attention to the man, and she flashed him a big, toothy grin. "See? We make a good team already," she purred, raising her spear as she waited for direction from the boy. "Now. Back to business." Vermillion gestured to his spear, and then to hers. There was no time to waste.

There were a number of other things the blond haired teen had wanted to yell at his father. One of them being cut your damn hair its longer than mother's. Despite the longing to say that , the thoughts had remained locked up in the blond haired boy's brain. There they would stay unless they had managed to slip out during a fight. To be honest Silas had hoped that kind of slip wouldn't come to pass. Partly , because he hadn't wanted to deal with the troublesome after effects. So, to avoid such trouble sometimes the blond haired teen had to hoped that his mother would some day tell her husband to cut his damn hair.

" Sure why not i don't mind." The blond haired man had mumered in response the girl's duh. He had nothing better to do so the teen hadn't seen a problem with it. Especially if could end up being another reason for his father not to bother and nag him. The blond haired teen wasn't really sure what to say to the girl's next comment so, he had just nodded. It wasn't much but , a nod had always been a universal response to alot of things. Therefore , the light haired man hadn't been all that worried about it backing firing on him. " Well i guess step one is to make sure your footing is strong against the ground." The blond haired man had started after a few kids had darted passed them.

" Might wanna hold on to the weapon tighter too." The blond had mummered once more in a tone that had sounded like he had been deep in thought. In truth the light eyed man had been thinking up steps as he went. " Then you wanna bring your foot across the ground like this." The man had went to explain and show the girl. Woosh the blond haired teen had slashed at the dummy's gut." Follow through around quickly. Then strike." The man's voice had continued when had spun around and slashed at the dummy's chest.
