Super Smash Flash 2's demo version 0.9 will be unveiled officially at this year's APEX 2013 Smash tournament! It takes place on January 11 (I believe) so that makes it a week from today.
Apparently, the event is one of the biggest Smash Bros tournaments around the world, which is kind of cool that they will be featuring the ever-popular Flash game at it. There will be a livestream taking place, so follow the McLeodGaming Twitch.tv stream for that sort of thing.
Additionally, what has been shown so far is an update to the physics for this version, which can be seen here.
I watched a little bit of the first day of the stream, and I caught glimpse of a few new things. Jigglypuff and MetaKnight are in on this new version, and there are also quite a few new stages. Hueco Mundo got a revamp, there is a Meteo stage, and a few others which I can't quite recall at this point. But it is looking much more polished every time I watch. Incredible how far the game has come from its first version.
The stream is quite cool to watch, so I'd encourage you to give it a whirl if you have a bit of time to kill in the next few days.
