"Kung Fu Beyond The Grave Prefab Sprout A Life of Surprises" - you have to see this:

And I have a feeling Paddy would love this one:

I feel nothing but pride – that’s all I do feel: an empty pride, a hopeless vanity, a dreadful arrogance, a stupefyingly futile conceit. But at least it’s something to hang on to.

Kung Fu was extremely serious stuff back then and to see it now, well, it is kind of laughable ?. No, maybe more amusing . The person who ingeniously attached this to a serious song is exceptional.
I just have one question ? The fanged tooth guy at the end of the video. I keep playing the part where he is talking and I'm trying to read his lips. I think the last word is "surprises" but I can't make out the other words. Any ideas? Not that it really matters. Two excellent presentations.

More examples of the strange phenomenon of clips on YouTube being accompanied by PS:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ApBi3jHwmJ8

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKTisjABFVY

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7k_aNxh3w0g

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqSSNi8ta28

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KJoRdyXLU8

A warning: depending on your point of view, the following clip is either grotesquely and morbidly prurient or a jarring, but audacious and life-affirming coupling of Life's a Miracle and a still photograph of a violent suicide... No, really:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAWeMnXRxqc

Apparently, there's also a deeply annoying 7 second 'Bonny' ringtone:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-KsZj40jD0

"I can completely use my ears" says our next contender. Funny, 'cause 'incomplete' and 'inept' were the words that came to my mind:

life-affirming coupling of Life's a Miracle
Hurray ! 'Life's a Miracle' made it on youtube. It is a great song, words and music.

Show someone you love them don't be scared

And if they fall into your arms you'll be surprised to find

The weight that you can bear.

These lines have made it in the 'best of Life" Quotes along with Einstein, Twain, Franklin,
Leo buscaglia , Lennon and others. Not shabby company at all for a guy who has a degree in English Literature. As one critic said of Paddy. He's "a Shakespeare in a world of cheap novels"---Thanks , Paddy for this song (words and music).

This came to me second handed as an e-mail from someone who knows that I broadcast this song as exceptional. Honestly, there maybe some factual errors
but I do know Paddy's lyric in my post is linked to a writer by the name of. Steve
Talbott. What book of his it is in ? I have no clue but it would be intresting to try and
find out what book and if he is a Paddy McAloon fan. It may be a line that just struck his fancy, I don't know. I'm going to try and e-mail him and get more info.

Is it connected to this in anyway?

I typed Steve Talbott and Prefab Sprout into Google, and came across it. No real idea what it is though.

Could be. I briefly scanned his homepage

http://www.natureinstitute.org/txt/st/index.htm

and the subject matter of his working knowledge could easily be a connection to Paddy's valuable insights in his own way. Still would be interesting if he is a Prefab Sprout fan. Maybe, at lest in the lyrics.

It's just a list of quotes favoured by a computer programmer from Italy called Nicola Larosa (male).

http://www.teknico.net/about/author/index.en.html

He even includes one of his own: "An unsigned 32-bit integer is enough to count all the seconds in your life. (Even a *signed* one, if you're not lucky.)" Thanks for that, Nicola. At yet another site, he quotes McAloon again:

But so true.

Hey, look at this:
My nickname, tekNico, is a play on words, based on my first name (hence the capital "N"), my technical inclinations, and my being a blockhead (Tek is a very hard wood).

I know, they say jokes should not be explained, but it seems that only a few people get this one.
Ha, ha. Endearing stuff. B)

The reasons for combining these images for a DIY video montage accompanying Goodbye Lucille #1 remain something of a mystery, though I expect that the passing of youth, as symbolised by the summer of love, have something to do with it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13MdLVdZuYo

Meanwhile, a chap called Robert at YouTube has posted 3 clips from Brokeback Mountain accompanied by Sprout tunes. The first, When Love Breaks Down, I've posted before. Second up is If You Don't Love Me. Unsurprisingly, the most effective - and affecting - choice is Cowboy Dreams:
