"I've only seen people from my school," Asa told the boy. "Also, you might need to be more descriptive if you're looking for people. That told me very little."

Asa was done talking to this guy. This guy wasn't going to attack, and there wasn't any reason to stick around with him. Asa could go find some quiet place in the museum and figure out what he'd do. He could ration his food and drinks, as well as figure out what other supplies he had.

Then there had to be a loud clanking sound in the distance. Asa let out a short groan as he heard the sound. He wasn't going to get any peace in this damn arena, was he? He knew it was a hard thing to ask for when all but one person would walk away alive, but even he had hoped there would be downtime between the mayhem and the other bullshit.

"Hey, if you're going to be stupid, at least be stupid where we can see you!" he called out in the direction of the sound.

If someone was going to be that loud in the shadows, Asa was sure they wouldn't be much of a threat. He was fairly certain of that.

Forrest had to admit his description of Marcus and Dee were not the best. But as the other boy had just seen people from his school, Forrest had his answer.

Then Forrest heard a metallic sound. He looked in the direction and he heard the other boy saying something in that direction.

What could that metallic sound be? A grenade?

He heard no explosion.

So he dropped his Saltine bag in his bag, picked his club up and moved to the direction of the sound.

As Riley rushed to pick the knife back up in her hand, she looked up and saw the guy she didn't know walking towards her, carrying that shillelagh of his. Mad panic filled her; she had screwed up, and now it could cost her. She was caught out, and she needed to run.

With a squeal, Riley raced away from the two as quickly as she could. She raced down the hallway, and didn't even bother looking back.

Riley was scared, scared she was in danger. She had her knife, but could it hold up against their weapons? They had more reach but she might be able to dodge more easily and could probably use her weapon more effectively since it was very simple. She turned another corner at the end of the hall, found the area with the big tank and-

Wait, shit. Where had she put her bag? Riley froze, and looked around, swiftly scanning the room for the hiding spot, but in her terror she had no idea. She froze up.

A voice quietly whispers from Riley's collar.

"Knock knock. Who is it? REALITY. You know, they told me you had a brain, but you sure ain't using it right. Get yourself together and bolt NOW."

The other guy was already moving towards the sound, club in hand. He could hear someone running down the hall. Asa rolled his eyes. Already they were getting into the madness of the game. Salty Shillelagh could go after the sound and possibly lose his life for it. Asa could just hide and wait for the danger to vanish.

Man, at this rate, it's probably going to be something like a rat. I bet this shitty place has rats.

Asa stepped back from where the guy was going. If he did need to bail, he would probably need to keep his distance. The entrance was still close by, so he could probably make it if need be.

Man, if I have to go back outside again...

Forrest noticed that the noisemaker was a girl with black hair, but no sign of something green on her, except her green sweatshirt. The bandanna she wore was yellow or orange, Forrest couldn't tell. He still continued to follow her with his club. The girl was no one Forrest knew, either.

He was confident enough that he wouldn't walk into a trap. He could hear the steps of the girl running, so he could knew whether she continued running or hid behind a corner to ambush him. The girl also seemed to have no useful weapon, as she would've shot him instead of running away. But why did she even run away when she was not hostile?

Before Forrest turned around the first corner he turned his head back and he noticed that the boy stood there and did not help him in any way. He even appeared to be even further away than he was. And then he shouted to the other boy.

"Nice support you give me"

However Forrest couldn't blame him, as he already declared he wanted to be alone. But hell, he had an axe and just used his mouth to attack the girl. At least the other boy did not attack him from the back.

Then Forrest turned his head back to the front and increased his speed to follow the girl around the corner and to put a larger distance between himself and the other boy, so he couldn't even think of using his axe on Forrest's back.

Get it together, right.

Riley was being really fucking stupid. Rushing around, getting caught doing dangerous shit, panicking and freaking out. If she was watching herself at home, she'd think she was some kind of dumbass. This wasn't what she wanted, and it wasn't how she wanted to be. The situation, the rush and the fear and excitement she was feeling from the situation, it was clouding her thoughts and making her do stupid and reckless things.

That moment of clarity hit her suddenly, with her mentor's harsh but honest words. "Okay, okay." She muttered, and spotted her bag shoved under a bench. She dashed to it, grabbing it and hoisting it over her shoulder. She had to get out and fast, risking safety on trust got people killed. She wasn't going to let herself make another stupid mistake again. Showmanship was one thing, but suicidal mistakes were for the cannon fodder.

Riley wasn't cannon fodder. She was Riley motherfucking Parker and hell if she was going to die. IF she went out, she was going to be the one on everyone's minds. This was something she'd always known could've happened, so she was going to make the most of it.

Still, she couldn't resist calling back as she fled, "Later bitches!"

(Riley Parker's story continues in Once Upon a Time))

Ready world? It's Act 2, and this time it's serious.

Asa remained where he was. He was then criticized for not backing up the Surly Saltine. Asa raised his arms to the side and scoffed. When the hell did he ever say he was going to ally with this guy? Asa didn't have any reason to give a shit about him, and their conversation before didn't suggest any kind of alliance. They were simply going to stay out of each other's way. This guy could chase the rat, but Asa was going to avoid catching the plague of idiocy.

That's when Asa finally saw the rat in the shadows. They ran quickly away from the guys shouting "Later, bitches!" Asa raised an eyebrow. He recognized the voice.

"Riley?"

Riley was someone he knew from debate team. She was...generally tolerable. But clearly, she was lacking in the stealth element that most people who come onto this show use to survive as long as possible. Part of him wondered if she had the weaponry or strength to deal with Salt Lick if they clashed, but she was already gone before he got the chance to see.

Eh, it's one less idiot to deal with right now. Now, to deal with the idiot still in this room.

Asa let out a cough, loud enough that Cracker Jack Attack should hear.

"Well, I guess I'll go back to what I was doing."

The girl took her bag she had hidden somewhere and escaped, while she said "Later Bitches!".

Then Forrest decided to stop walking. He could not understand the girl, what she even wanted to achieve. Forrest did not want to follow the girl, but she had the right plan. She went away from this museum.

When the fat boy said that he continues to do what he already has done, Forrest raised an eyebrow.

"Whatever."

What has the boy even done? This guy was useless. He would not be able to help Forrest in any way. He cannot fight, he probably cannot run and there probably are more things that boy couldn't do. And it appeared that the guy was lazy as fuck. He probably wouldn't even try to escape. If Forrest would stick around with him more, he would just see him dying. His only useful purpose could be that he would be a meatshield.

Not even his at first scary-looking axe was worth a thing. Forrest was satisfied with his club.

This boy can help himself, when he does not help Forrest. Why'd Forrest help him with anything, when he did nothing but rant? This guy can keep being here in this museum. Staying here would lead to absolutely nothing.

Forrest was going to find real allies, he could trust. People who could help him to escape. Or at least people that could help him to survive. People he could rely on. Friends.

Finally, Forrest left the museum, with his club in his right hand, his bag in the left hand and his green bandana on his right arm.

Asa remained in place as the guy walked out of the museum. He gave a small smirk as he watched the other boy go. He didn't have any reason to deal with such a guy, and now he had the museum to himself. This was the peace he needed to go through his issued bag and to plan his next course of action.

"Alright, time to find a good place to hide," he muttered to himself.

Asa began to wander through the museum. There had to be a private office or some other area that might be more restricted to the populace. People didn't normally keep to old social cues in SOTF, but at the very least, he needed to find a place that other people wouldn't immediately go for.

He walked through the halls of the museum, keeping his axe to his side. He needed to be smart if he was going to somehow survive this ordeal.
