- Name: Bridie Mossberg
Weight ~140 lb.
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Brunette
Kills: (Probably) Two
Weapon: Copy of the Declaration of Independence on wrinkled and creased A4 paper.
Appearance: Bridie is average build for her relatively short height, with a rectangular figure and strongly defined shoulders and arms. Her skin is naturally healthy and smooth and she tans well into a fair complexion, she usually is tan as a result of her plentiful outdoors work. Bridie has a soft and slightly chubby face with shapely cheeks and a natural blush that can be somewhat splotchy. Her eyes are the standout feature of her face, bold, and she sometimes competently does her eyelashes and eyebrows, though at other times they can be untamed or overdone. Her hair grows over her shoulders and is naturally curly and voluminous, she sometimes wears headbands. Her daily dress is typically casually feminine or athletic.
On announcement day she was wearing a white short-sleeve undershirt, a black maxi dress with sleeves, black flats, and white athletic socks.
Interests: Bridie was well versed with guns from a young age, she was taught by her maternal grandfather and mother, who were both officers in the army and hunt in their acres of forested land up in Idaho. To her guns are familiar and comfortable, she also naturally clicked with them and she understands them to an innate degree that makes her feel powerful and accomplished when contrasted to the many other activities of life where she can screw up far more easily. Her favorite guns to shoot are mostly rifles, she can oftentimes be found at the shooting range after school for at least an hour and she has a solid accuracy rate at the places she frequents, she also has a Remington Model 141 in her own room at home, a gift for her Sweet 16. She seeks to join the military in terms of lifelong career when she graduates, and studies hard to perhaps someday be able to pass the officer tests.
Bridie is, in her casual life, a shallow but dedicated fan of music. She's not a particularly good singer but she can at least keep pitch, and she's often found singing to herself while doing household chores, and she can spend hours to herself when she has nothing else to do and no friends to meet, airdrumming on YouTube lyrics videos and instrumentals for her favorite genres, mostly feel good oldies and pop, to relieve stress or just to have a good time. She enjoys baking and cooking as well, and she takes a pride in the hard work put into each memorized recipe and often showers her friends in food, both to show affection and to show off one of the skills she really feels confident in. She's quite good at pastries, her coconut-lemon creampuffs in particular are to die for.
History: Bridie is one of two children born to Joseph and Emily Mossberg: her father and mother are both involved in the city government of Denver and her brother Zachary is three years older and currently serving his mandatory military service. Bridie lived a happy childhood in spite of the diagnosis of her intellectual disability, it was mild and doctors informed her parents that with patience and resources Bridie could live a fulfilling and independent life, and Bridie has always been well cared for and spoiled with attention, her parents took great pains to assure her of her greatness and kindness. Bridie was held back in the fifth grade despite trying her hardest, the progression in math and English was a mite too much for her. She was humiliated but took it in her stride, she stubbornly kept at it and graduated, promising herself she'd catch up to her friends in high school. After this she was shifted to special education tracks in some courses and she has remained in most of those courses ever since, ultimately for her academic success is secondary save for it's place in her military ambitions.
Bridie has fallen in with the patriotic lot in high school, they take good care of her and she is fiercely loyal to them for being understanding of her limitations and for sharing her worldview. She has always loved America as her parents and especially maternal grandparents loved it, she's often the first in the school to show school spirit and one of the most emotional during the more propaganda-esque rallies and games. She's on track to graduate at the end of this school year with modified diploma requirements, though she intends to continue studying after high school in a local community college and take proper high school/intro college level classes, she's scared since the jump up in academics to a more standard progression might be quite the shock, but she's determined to get as far along in her education as she can.
Personality: Bridie is simple and at times innocently naive, she has learned to keep her mouth shut especially when the social situation is faster and more complex than she can process at a reasonable speed. She's somewhat gullible and easy to shock and get reactions out of, she naturally wears her heart on her sleeve, but she's often a bit too naturally happy and enthusiastic to get strictly negative reactions out of, outbursts of anger are rare to see from her, though she can be driven to cry somewhat easily. The only time it's easy to stress out Bridie to the point of temper tantrum is when she's overloaded, she struggles with multitasking and generally prefers to only be doing one thing at a time, slow as that can make her pace of action sometimes. She's naturally optimistic but often doesn't think things through sometimes for a sheer lack of the higher functioning to grasp the nuances of big picture thinking, Bridie mostly lives moment to moment, and tends to treat people well as a result, she rarely holds grudges unless peer pressured into doing so.
Reputation: Bridie's being in special classes is fairly well known as it's not exactly easy to hide one's presence in the special education wings of the school and she wouldn't try to hide that anyways. She's quite well treated by the other patriotic and military positive kids in the school since she's very easily on their side, these kids are the majority of her intimate friends. But she's friendly enough to mostly avoid having beef with the majority of the school population that bothers to interact with her, unless they explicitly go out of their way to antagonize her or get on the bad side of her friends. She can struggle a bit with trusting others in group projects and the such, she really keeps an eye out for familiar faces and is awkward otherwise, especially since she doesn't have the best facial recognition and ability to remember names at times. Her female friends know her as a sappy as hell, cliche slinging, dramatic romantic, and she loves to complain about and rave about her on and off boyfriend Clay in the same breath.
- Bridie has an intellectual disability and is in special classes.
- She has crushes on boyz so give me some boyz, my boyz. She's on and off with my other character Clay but she's less dedicated than he is to an extent.
- Her close friends are all the patriotic and country-loving sort, she also loves friends from the military families, especially if they can shoot guns alongside her at the range.
- She loves to cook, share a cooking class with her or be her friend and she will drown you in pretty yummy pastries.
- Bridie is fundamentally quite friendly and it's difficult to draw her ire. The people she's least likely to feel comfortable around are people who would draw the ire of her close friends. Subversive and anti-America sorts, basically. If that's the case then she'll be uncomfortable around those people and seek to avoid them.
- She's gullible and easy to trick for laughs or profit, but she can call her friends on people if she realizes she's been used or accidentally lets the deets slip.
Program Stuff - For Bridie I'd like for her to fall into the orbit of a more insidious character in the Program 2.5 run and sort of be their muscle and their compatriot, however that ends up playing out. Bridie is going to die but I'd like for her to not die to another student per say, because I have some things in mind. She doesn't necessarily need a monster kill count or something but she does need to survive to the end, at least.

Grant Gault (Namira) - Most crush-y of crushes, she gets pretty awkward and dumbfounded around him. He occasionally teases her, leading to quite the happy freak out.
Zeke Brant (Sinnesloschen) - Sporty, patriotic, upstanding, kind of really hot, what more could you ask?
Erik Bell (MurderWeasel) - She cares about him as much as he cares about her and looks out for her! They hang out all the time and Bridie puts enormous faith in Erik's advice.
Charlie Cade Jr (Namira) - Bridie respects the dang heck out of Charlie, and she's so incredibly thrilled that Charlie is so nice and encouraging! Bridie wouldn't use the word 'senpai', that's just weird, but 'senpai noticed her'!
Ambrose Lexington (Laurels) - Danielle Baumgartner (Aloha) - Bridie feels quite sorry for poor Danielle, and she absolutely won't judge any honest patriot no matter their checkered past.

Rodney Vasicek (Laurels) - Bridie wishes he'd be more open because she thinks he's a good fella.
Rozenne Evans (Laura) - She guesses Roz is alright? Quiet but allegedly not so pro-America, so Bridie wouldn't be the most comfortable with her by herself.
Mina Marshall (MurderWeasel) - Bridie isn't the sort to outright hate people but her patriotic friends warn her about Mina, so Bridie is mostly unwilling to engage socially with the outcast.
Nanna-Fiora Kroos (Pippin) - Bridie swears up and down that her stuff vanishes faster when this girl is around. But there's plenty more where that came from, no need to get mad about it.

- Name: Clay Bronson
Weight ~190 lb.
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Black
Weapon: A stainless steel, necklace size rosary
Appearance: Clay is in places a bit on the pudgy side, with a slightly hefty stomach and large thighs and hips for a male, typically he sticks to looser clothing to disguise with usual effectiveness. He has a long neck and strong, sloping shoulders. His face is fairly handsome, he has a well defined chin and jawline, and sharp and expressive brown eyes. He usually wears some carefully tamed stubble day to day over his jawline, but he keeps his upper lip clear. His hair is kept scruffy and grows somewhat over his ears, his most common look is to peel it back from his forehead with gel but otherwise maintain a natural bedhead look that suits him. He typically wears casual men’s clothing, tees and jeans, and he has an ear pierced. He has something of an interest in alternative fashion, though he only has a few easily concealed pieces.
On announcement day Clay wears a sports jersey tee, a deep maroon with white stripes on the hems of the sleeve. He wears simple blue denim jeans and black and white checkered Vans. His hair is done up with gel. He has a simple black collar and chain choker, but he keeps it in a pocket.
Interests: Clay has a fairly good singing voice, a tenor range with a strong vibrato, and he is also trained in playing the drums. He does not sing much in an extracurricular sense, but he participates in the school’s marching band and also has ambitions of starting up a band of his own with some of his peers, though due to a lack of strong leadership things have yet to really get off the ground past broad conceptual ideas. He has started offering some drum lessons in his free time- of which he has plenty- finding that he does enjoy the process of teaching some. Clay in general has a taste for music, he’s flexible, but he mostly listens to jazz and when he started dating Bridie he also picked up some of her taste in more safe and whitewashed pop, he admits it’s at least fun and catchy. He’s also started going to local raves to scout out the music scene, and has begun developing a taste for the aesthetic and style, and his mind has been exposed to a smattering of more extreme anti-authoritarian ideas than he’s used to in the process.
Clay identifies strongly as a practicing Presbyterian, though he’s actually somewhat flaky about attending weekly mass he’s a dependable volunteer and can regularly be found helping out in Church functions. He has more close friends in the Church than he does in his own school, and he tends to spend more of his free time there than in school. He participates in the church choir and has also started to learn keyboards, thinking one day he can be the church pianist or organ player. Clay regularly prays and reads the Bible in his free time. Through some of his volunteer sessions working with younger children in Sunday School he’s tentatively thinking of a career in teaching and wants to try babysitting, though he’s still a bit unsure since sometimes he feels he doesn’t have the patience to deal with it as a job.
History: Clay is an only child whose parents came from another state and settled in Colorado because the father is a mid-level manager in a Denver-based tech corporation. Clay was a fairly withdrawn child and needed plenty of parental encouragement to break out of his shell and make friends, and he also attracted a modest but outlook-affecting share of bullies and friends who took advantage of him from time to time because he was submissive and cried easily. He attended some therapy and counseling at such a young age, with an ultimately positive effect, he gained some confidence and moved school districts, and since then Clay has had more esteem, bolstered by a strong spirituality and faith that grew in him from a young age as some of his best friends were met in the friendly environment of church barbeques and picnics.
Clay as a child played video games and still enjoys them, it wasn’t until his tenth birthday that his parents bought him a drum set. It was on a lark, but it turned out Clay massively enjoyed the art of drumming and put a lot of his free time into it. He was part of a amateur band in his middle school years, and some of his peers might still remember ‘Kisstake’, the sort-of-decent band that covered old heartland-style tracks like Dylan, Etheridge, Springsteen, and The Killers. Two of the members moved away to another city when middle school ended and the remainder two got lazy about recruiting, though Clay is still friends with all of them. Clay participated in marching band since, but has recently renewed interest in a proper band, on top of his growing tastes in music in general inspiring him with a lot of new ideas he explores in his free time. He tends to have a lot of free time, he’s academically only okay at best, and doesn’t have much in the way of ambitions after graduating high school.
Recently he’s felt quite in the orbit of Bridie Mossberg, the girl he asked out after working up courage for months. They are on and off as they fight over typical teen things.
Personality: Clay sometimes has difficulty speaking his mind, as good as therapy was for him he’s still a bit socially timid and tends to be pessimistic about his ability and self-determination, sometimes he feels rather lost in the crowd. In general he comes of as passive, socially he tends to let others have the main say and only occasionally factors in with his own ideas. He’s somewhat observant of his surroundings and tuned in, but he tends to second guess himself and generally deals alot with doubts and insecurities. He’s friendly when reached out too, though he tends to be awkward when he’s not expecting people to speak to him, which is often. Most of the time he’s the sort to very fastidiously stick to himself when in school, only hanging out with fried at select times. Even in places where he’s more comfortable, say the band room or in church, he still sometimes feels awkward and out of place. He’s also a bit suggestible, and picks up new ideas quickly. The one consistent thing is that he’s quite morally driven, and typically affords others an optimism he fails to give to himself and he always tries to be supportive no matter what.
Reputation: Clay does not have much of a reputation: he isn’t a particularly open book and he lacks the popularity or clout for people to pay attention to him. He’s simply one of the many faceless for the most part, the most common exposure to Clay is as ‘the quiet one in class who’s clearly only raising his hand for participation credit’ or ‘that one kid in marching band’. That said there are avenues to knowing him in some more sense, if your kid goes to his Presbyterian Church he’d be more famous to you as a good if still awkward kid who seems to be great with kids and works hard. Your kid could also seek him out to learn drums from him. His few friends tend to be from music classes or have been childhood friends, probably from middle school. His friends know him as relaxed and easy going, reliable and easy to talk into doing fun stuff, though he has pretty clear lines he draws in terms of morals. Birdie’s friends also know him fairly well, they get an earful about everything that’s wrong and right with him on the regular.
- Clay is about average track, he probably won’t be payed attention to for academic or athletic accomplishments any time… ever.
- His close friends haven’t known him for too long, since he moved elementary schools a bit it’s likely the most they could know him as would be middle school friends. But even friends who aren't so close benefit from Clay's strong and gentle attentions to their wellbeing, however he can be of service.
- He has a pretty damn good voice, though it typically only comes out in official functions: church, band. Most people wouldn’t have heard it.
- Clay could still have the occasional bully who finds him to be an easy mark or target since he’s easily and obviously flustered. I’m down for this, but not too many, he’s not exactly the most targetable I think, just for a lack of distinguishing features.
- He’s started babysitting a bit, so maybe he knows some of the kids around school with younger siblings? Probably just one or two things like this though.
- A few of the people he’s in talks with about forming up a band would be cool? Shrug.
Program Stuff - Clay will probably survive, and it’s guaranteed he’ll be the one who morally saves Somersault’s Yvonne from becoming a killer. Anyone who has any use for someone like him is welcome! Besides that I’ll probably just have him bounce around for a while.

- Bridie Mossberg () - He loves her and he does not know how to deal with it at all. His friends typically warn him to get over it.
Rozenne Evans (Laura) - A close friend, the sort of girl you can be quiet and cool with. Clay also helps Roz out around the house sometimes.
Mary Wieczorek (Sinnesloschen) - Everyone floats on, Clay supposes. He'll be happy to drift alongside Mary.
Frances "Frankie" Matsui (Aloha) - It's the quiet ones who become your best friends.
Cybil Price (Crossbow Pig) - They've been friends for a long time, though there's some distance. Who calls girls 'the fairer sex'?
Maria La Guerta (Kween in Yella) - Acquaintance and friendship made at a rave, and she's been steadily feeding him her 'interesting' ideas since, which has begun to open his mind as much as she can actually be a source of intellectual stimulation. He's happy to be a friend and doesn't quite have the sense of self-preservation to see the danger in associating with her. Bridie on the other hand isn't particularly happy.
Zeke Brant (Sinnesloschen) - Back when Clay was still in a band they used to hang out.
Jacqueline Hastert - Requested by Aloha. A military brat whose father was honorably discharged due to injuries received to the lower spinal cord that confined him to a wheelchair. Mom makes all the income now, so it's Jacqueline's responsibility to take care of the house and help Dad out, all while trying to keep up with school. She's weary, tired, and has grown up a wee bit too fast but she's also reliable and patient, with a strong empathy for her fellow schoolmates, especially her friends. Her peers know her as caring and concerned, and never having time but always doing her best to be there, though she's a bit of a stick in the mud with few outstanding hobbies.

- Danielle Baumgartner (Aloha) - One of her closest and most intimate friends, they share a deep relationship having been friends since they were young due to their parents serving together.
