She was so nice. So kind, so friendly, so much more decent and not terrible than anyone Tania had met so far. So when she spoke, Tania wept so much she had to take the scarf off to wipe her tears. Then Scarlett extended her hand, and Tania wanted to reciprocate so badly.
She didn't go for the handshake though, she leaned forward and hugged Scarlett tightly with tears still streaming down her face. So nice, so kind, so warm, and so inviting. This was all that she wanted, all she had ever needed in this place. It was almost too perfect.
Then the thought came to her.

She took the scarf and wrapped it around her new best friend's neck, like a nice gesture. Then she quickly tightened and cut off the girl's circulation until she stopped struggling. It was quick, easy, and painless. Exactly how it should be.

She took her scarf and wrapped it around Scarlett's neck, but her smile was more wicked than she intended. Her expression betrayed her intent, as she began to tighten and pull the cloth tight. It would all be over soon, Tania knew it. Soon Scarlett would be in heaven and Tania would have earned her right to go home.
She just needed her new best friend to stop struggling. It wasn't as easy as she thought it would be in her head. She began to get frustrated. "Don't fight it. I need this Scarlett, it's my only chance!"
