Sup folks! I go by the name of Conun.

I know that I am probably a little late joining this community but now is a better time than never to do so.

I want to say that I am a big fan of the n64 SBK games and think that the playstation one was alright.

I also think while the ds one was while not good , it wasn't so bad.It would have been better off called Shin Megami Tensei Snowboarding. Its system of play was very different and also very unbalanced for the most part.

It had an art style that turned off most of its fan base prior. I feel that if there was chance for new SBK that it returned back to OG style with like mix of SBK 1 and 2 gameplay.Wouldn't mind if the new character additions made their way into it.

Besides that I guess , I will mention something about myself.

I have to say that I am pretty chill person that is a big gamer.Right now though I am gaming pretty retro because nothing is like the classics. They really have this magical way of starting up and a pretty magical atmosphere in general with things like sound.

Well , I guess there isn't much more for to say....

Anyway, I hope to see you guys around here sometime to talk about SBK.

Welcome to the forums, always good to see another SBK Fan make their way here!

I'll admit I was not a big fan of the DS version of Snowboard Kids, I'm very story-driven and value continuity, and when I saw virtually neither in the game, it became very hard for me to keep interested.

Hope to hear more from you in the forums!

        Welcome to the forums!

I've never played SBK:DS and never planned to because it has nothing appealing to me (Linda's not even in the game.), and I've been keeping the hope that one day, Atlus will bring this series back the right way.

You and me both buddy , at this point even a little closure is nice.

I hope that game isn't outsourced and given to original developers.I wonder about hidden story to why Atlus and Racdym went separate ways , after all Racdym takes pride in the N64/PS1 game.

Racdym/Racjin seems to, they have kept the game pretty prevalant in their gameography on their website ever since.

Atlus has long since taken it off theirs, maybe they're just not proud of it anymore? I really hope that's not the case, any time I bring the game up to anyone, people remember it fondly.

I think that Atlus just wanted to save face , didn't even talk about stealth release of SBK ds on iOS.(even with that , game wasn't allowed to have spot on their forum and place where people could see it.)

This series has really has become the red headed step child that they don't want to talk about. It has the lowest chance of getting response out of them , they probably would talk about truama center in conversation even before this.

I bring up the game too to people that I know, then they mention SSX and how it was better.

Say that they would do anything for new game in SSX.(Even though we continued to play SBK over the years over any SSX game.)

Even though SBK is a fond memory , it's sad to see that new fond memories can't be born.

Seeing SBK in its truest form would be amazing , Mario kart series has pretty much stopped being its past self with flying , hovering and going underwater. I think it's great time for this series to come back.

I was thinking about something. Other fellow mods, would it be okay to relax the rules on thread/topic necromancy? A lot of our best or more interesting threads are fairly old (several years old, even!) and if a new member has something interesting and worthwhile to add, I don't see why it should be a big deal. :slashtoothy:

Point taken! I will disable that rule for the time being.
