I just thought of this. Since the canon SBK characters have their fans in the fandom, what would it be like if our fancharacters were canon just like them? Would they have fans? Would people try to pair them up with others?

Gameplay-Wise:
For Josh, he is very competitive and confident, and although he lacks experince, he is a fast learner with snowboarding. Which would make him a medium to medium-high tier racer. As for Chihiro, she does board, but isn't as good as the others, making her a low tier character. But because of their looks, I think most players would be drawn to them and play as them otherwise.

Character-Wise:
Josh would get some fans maybe because he's an okay guy at most times, but can get arrogant at times, warding people off. And because Josh is generally a good looking person, I think he would be more of a hit with the girls than the guys. With Chihiro though, I think she would get flamed quite a bit, with getting called an 'emo' all the time, and bashers telling her to get a life. It's a bit sad really that people can discriminated because they look a bit different.

Pairing-Wise:
Ho boy, I was hoping we wouldn't have to come to this. But anyway, I can see Josh getting paired with Nancy a lot. Even if the pairing itself isn't canon. Other than that, I guess Pamela would be an okay match for him in my opinion. For yaoi pairings though, I can only see Slash being a good one. Chihiro would most likely get paired up with Damien, despite that she thinks that he is a poser. And generally I hate this pairing because it's so obvious, just because that they look alike, it dosen't mean that they should be together. And for yuri pairings, it would be Linda and Nicole, because they tease her all the time, they end up falling for her.

Hmm. Well, I was thinking of that pairing would be a rather sweet pairing. Remember that RP moment when Chihiro was crying and Cleo comforted her, I thought there was slight bit of Chihiro/Cleo going on there. I didn't use other fancharacters for pairings because I knew someone would go crazy.

Gameplay-Wise:
They'd probably have to make a new game with the Gang as misunderstood antagonists. >_> Silver would probably be Ninja-tier do to his mysteriousness or something and everyone else would be up to par. Silver would be ??? or All-Around, Shot would be a Trick type, Venus would be Speed, Knuckle would be... Power <_<? and Tear would be... I dunno. Trick?

If they were antagonists, they would have to have some redeeming gameplay features to set them apart from just being other racers. Such as Shot having amazing aim and faster shots but when tripping up he stays on the ground for a bit longer than other people, Knuckle's shots would be bigger but sort of inaccurate and would have more of an effect such as bigger bomb explosions, parachutes send people higher, ice freezes longer, etc. Venus would be able to reflect nearly every shot but would never take a short-cut, and Tear would get a lot of the better items but would make mistakes a lot. These effects would only happen in Single Player when facing them, not in multiplayer.

Character-Wise:
There would be some fans of everyone. Silver would probably be liked the most among the guys because he's "cool." Shot's a bit wacky so some people are bound to like him. Venus would probably be the least liked because she's "the (sort-of) responsible one." I know someone already likes Knuckle. >_>

Pairing-Wise:
Oh god with 5 characters there are too many possibilites to list here. Uh... I see Shot/Venus and Shot/Tear because he really isn't any of the canon character's type. Knuckle/Nancy because of that "opposites attract" (quick to anger/always kind) thing people have going in their minds. Silver/Linda, Venus/Jam, Tear/Slash, etc. And I know someone would be a wise*** and put Knuckle/Soniro.

I think that rule is a piece of crap when discussion is still possible and there's next to no activity in the board.

Princess Pac, I already told you before that the rule does not apply if the necromancer put up information that contributes to the topic. Silver Shot has done so.

Silver, mind your manners about the rule, it was put into effect for a reason when it was issued. If you have a problem with it, talk to me about it yourself, don't bring your gripes into the public view.
