I know this has gone on for a veeeery long time now but in a few fanarts by Veertje, canon and fan made characters develop superpowers. Linda uses pyrokinesis, Aval and Lanche uses what I interpret as hydrokinesis and so on. Recently Silver "developed" his own powers too as shown in the RP and fanart. Do you think that this trend will continue with other characters or should we just draw the line about this whole thing right now?
Personally I think this opens up new opportunities for creativity, RPing and fan fiction. Who knows maybe we will be able to make something out of it.
Finally got a copy of SBK1 after first renting it ages ago.
Let's see, I'll try and list some ideas for each, and you all can work your ways up from there:
Slash - Lightning, no question. Like it, he's energetic, and his very demeanor seems to demonstrate a lightning personality. Also consider the fact that Slash is as sharp and precise with his pranks and ideas as is a bolt of lightning.
Jam - Sonic Waves. No, this isn't just a stereotype from him liking loud music, it's also the fact that he likes to be noticeable, and wants to be revered, so much like how a loud sound will get everyone's attention, Jam shows off to demonstrate himself and get everyone's attention.
Nancy - Emotion. Why, you ask? Nancy is always the one who attempts to talk with the kids if issues arise, and always wants things settled peacefully. Sure she can get a little hotheaded if someone is being difficult, but emotion itself is a strong power that can influence virtually any living being, and Nancy's love of all things spreads long beyond that of just her friends.
Tommy - Earth. Much like it, he is very easy going, and he lets the world go on without doing anything to harm it or help it. Even though he's lazy and lethargic, he has a sense of neutrality in any event that arises, aside if it effects him directly. He's got a mind as steady as a rock, you can't shake him!
Linda - Fire, but we already knew that.
Sinobin - Illusion. Sinobin has always been the evasive type, and by giving him mastery over Illusion, he can utilize all of his training to set every environment in his favor by setting up illusions at the right intervals.
Damien - Fear, sure the little guy isn't that strong, and is easy to push around, but even so he's got to have one or two tricks up his sleeve. What's one thing that Damien has managed to do to even the players who play Snowboard Kids? The first time you face Damien in the BK Robot, he's pretty darn scary and hard to defeat. Fear is his best weapon, give it to him!
(I may continue with others, but I think that gets the point across pretty well.)
