Just an idea I had for a while. Dressing up as the snowboard kids and LARPing. LARP stands for live action role play, while cosplay is a portmanteau of the words costume and playing. I don't personally snowboard all that often, but I think it would be awesome to hit the slopes dressed up as my favorite kid, with a sweet custom board painted to one of the paintstyles found in the games. I would go as either Nancy, Slash, Linda (Maybe not in a bikini though. That might be just a bit cold.) Shinobin or my original character Giniro.

Sounds really interesting, do you have any slopes to go to during the winter? It might be a pretty hard to get a custom painted board though... unless you pay big bucks. Just hope that you won't pay an equal amount of dollars to what the paint job costs in the game XD

EDIT: Why don't you consider dressing up as Kaede too?... Sans the huge shuriken of course!

I do have some slopes to hit, actually. I live in Canada, so there's no shortage, but the thing is, I'm a terrible snowboarder. I didn't think of Kaede, but I would consider her too. Even though I'm not a great painter, if a paint job was too expensive, I'd do it myself.

I'm not unfamiliar with LARPing myself, but I've yet to actually attempt a LARP regarding SBK. As fun as it may sound, it seems improbable considering each of our lifestyles.

Still, cosplaying as the kids is not unheard of, and there's plenty of opportunities to show that off! Conventions, or simply just getting pictures of it, what better way to demonstrate the love of the games with that?
