Description: It all starts when Linda makes fun of Slash for failing a pop quiz in school... not nearly as adult-like as my first fic. Not much action in the first chapter, but more to come.

    Story

    Chapter 1

It was the first day of school. The kids were tired and bored already. But their teacher wasn't.

    "Pop quiz!" the teacher yelled.
This woke Slash up. "Huh? On the first day of school?" Slash complained.
"Yep! And you better do good!" the teacher said. The teacher seemed like a madman, like he didn't care about anything.
"Yeah, Slash! Don't fail!" Linda sneered.
    "Oh, you." Slash started.
But it was too late to say anything. The test was on.

When he was finished, Slash handed in his test to Mr. Morris, the teacher. Quickly scanning the 7-question pop quiz, Mr. Morris put a big, red, fat "F" on the paper.
"You fail! No 'A' for you!" Mr. Morris exclaimed.
"Stupid test," Slash said, heading back to his seat.
"Hahaha, Slash! You failed the test!" Linda made fun of Slash. She showed him her test, which had an "A+" at the top of it.
Slash had nothing to say. He looked angry, but he sat down.

Soon enough, the school day was over. Slash approached his house. He went inside and hid under the window of the house door.
"I'll get Linda back," Slash said.
He got up just enough to look out the window. He saw Linda walk by, but she hadn't noticed him.

When Linda passed his house, Slash slowly opened the door and prepared some snowballs. In Snow Town, there was usually snow anyway, no mater what season it was.
He sneakily followed Linda up to her house (it was a really, really big house), hiding behind trees and bushes as he went along. Finally, Linda walked up to her house. Slash hid behind a bush near her driveway. As Linda was about to open the door, Slash pelted her with two snowballs. He couldn't help but laugh.

Well, that laugh turned out to be what would lead to his sneaky mission's failure. Linda found Slash in the bush and kicked him. Although the kick wouldn't have hurt very much, it hurt a lot because Linda was wearing a big shoe.
"Ow!" Slash yelled. He ran back to his house.
    "And STAY out!" Linda said.

Nancy and Wendy had seen the whole thing. They crossed the street and asked Linda what was going on.
"He threw snowballs at me, and I found him, so I kicked him," Linda explained, brushing snow out of her hair.
    "Ohh," Nancy and Wendy said.
"I think it might be fun to get back at him some more. What do you guys think?" Linda asked, playfully.
"Get back at him? Linda.I kinda like him." Nancy said.
"Well, then, you don't have to. Wendy?" Linda said.
"Sounds like fun. I'm in," Wendy confirmed.
"And then we can get Becky to fill in Nancy's spot," Lisa schemed.
Everyone knew Becky was the girl Slash hated the most. She had got him in trouble many times when he was younger.
Nancy left. Wendy and Linda started talking.

"Yeah, I can whip up some 'snowguns'," Wendy said. "I can have them ready by 4, probably."
"Good. You start working. I'm going to get Becky," Linda told Wendy. So Wendy went off to her house, and Linda walked over to Becky's house.

At Becky's house, Linda told Becky her plan.
"I'd never miss a chance to do that to Slash! I'm in," Becky said.
"Okay, good. Be at my house around 4 today, okay?" Linda told Becky.
    "Okay," Becky said.

Nancy was running up to Slash's house.
Ding dong! She rang Slash's doorbell.
Slash came to the door and opened it.
"Hey, Nance! What's up?" Slash greeted Nancy.
"Slash, I need to tell you something," Nancy said.
"Huh? Okay, what?" Slash said, aloof.
"Linda, Wendy, and Becky are going to try to get you back more for throwing snowballs at Linda!" Nancy exclaimed.
"What?! But I only threw two!" Slash yelled.
"Well, apparently, that was enough." Nancy said.
"Hmm.I guess I ought to call Jam and Tommy. I'll make a counter attack team," Slash said, coolly. Now he thought that it wouldn't be so bad.

On the phone, Jam and Tommy agreed to meet at Slash's house around 4, although Slash didn't know that that would be the time Linda's group would "attack" his house.

"Hey, Nance! Why don't you stick around for a while? It's only 3," Slash said.
"Oh, if you insist." Nancy replied.
Slash knew Nancy liked him. Nancy knew Slash liked her. It was fun for the two, being with each other.
Around quarter of four, Nancy reminded Slash that Jam and Tommy would be coming in fifteen minutes.
"Oh yeah.well, I guess you should go, as you don't like 'violence'," Slash said.
"I guess so.today was nice, Slash. See you later," Nancy said, leaving.
Before she left, Slash and Nancy quickly kissed. Then, Nancy left.

Soon, 4 rolled around. Wendy came to Linda's house with three "snowguns".
"Wendy! How good to see you," Linda greeted Wendy.
"I made these things you wanted," Wendy said.
"How lovely!" Linda admired her friend's work. She loaded hers with snow until it couldn't hold any more. Wendy did the same for the other two. Becky soon appeared at Linda's house. They all took a gun.
"Let's go!" Linda yelled. And so they started for Slash's house.

Jam and Tommy had shown up a little early, about five minutes after Nancy had left. Slash and his group had made walls of snow to hide behind in the street, and they had prepared snowballs.
"I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they see this stuff!" Jam exclaimed.
"Let's hide and wait behind the walls," Tommy suggested.
"Good idea," Slash agreed. So, they waited behind the walls for the girls.

    Chapter 2

Linda's gang approached Slash's house. Through a small hole in the snow wall, Slash could see the group coming. He gave a signal to Jam and Tommy to stand up a little and start throwing snowballs.

At once, a rain of snowballs were flying. Some had landed on people in Linda's gang, others around them, and others so off target that we need not mention how off target they were.

Linda's gang started shooting back at the boys. The guns were automatics, so there was A LOT of snow coming at Slash's "base". Many of the shots had blown holes in the snow walls.
"Retreat!" Slash yelled. All the boys retreated into Slash's house, but Linda's gang followed, mercilessly firing at the boys, wherever they went. Finally, the guns ran out of ammo and the girls ran away.

"Where'd they get those guns?!" Slash yelled, as if Jam or Tommy would know.
"Wendy probably built them," Tommy said. So, Tommy did know. But Slash didn't know if it was true or not.

"I guess we need to organize ourselves more," Slash said. "We need something extra. those snow walls don't cut it. Any ideas?"
"We could try to make them run amok by using the buildings as cover. They wouldn't know what building we were hiding behind," Tommy suggested.
    "That might work!" Jam agreed.
"Okay. Tomorrow we try that," Slash said. "But now, we prepare snowballs!"
The boys worked for a long time preparing snowballs, and then it was time for dinner. Jam and Tommy went home.

The next day at school, most things went pretty good for Slash. Linda just reminded him of how he "lost" the battle yesterday.
"It'll be different today," Slash said, coolly.

Before the kids knew it, the school day was done. The boys ran off to Slash's house to get the snowballs they had prepared. Each boy could only carry a limited amount of snowballs, so they decided to leave the rest in Slash's backyard.

Linda and her gang were walking down the sidewalk on Snow Town's main road. Slash, Jam, and Tommy were hiding behind the snowboard shop. When they saw Linda, they each threw a snowball at her and ran off to hide behind another building.
Slash's snowball hit Linda right at the tip of that oh-so-long nose of hers. Jam's ended up hitting Becky, and Tommy's missed. It had gone right through the space between Wendy and Becky.

"Slash! Where'd he go now!?" Linda yelled. The girls filled their snowguns and ran off.
Slash, hiding behind a "Snowy's" fast food place, got Linda again with a snowball, but Linda saw him. The chase was on.
Slash couldn't help it. He through his last two snowballs at Linda and ran off to his house to get more.
This made Jam and Tommy outnumbered, and they were running out of snowballs, too. They couldn't make more right on the spot, because the girls would be able to shoot them in the process. So, firing their last snowballs, Jam and Tommy ran off in different directions.
Jam hid around a SnowMart, the local supermarket. Tommy stayed near the newspaper office.

Slash soon returned and found Tommy.
    "Where'd Jam go?" Slash asked.
"I saw him run off to SnowMart," Tommy replied.
    "Okay, let's go," Slash said.
Sneaking behind a great many buildings, the boys finally found Jam.
"Hey! Where were you guys?" Jam questioned.
"I went to get more snowballs, and Tommy was hiding," Slash responded.
"Okay. Gimmie a snowball," Jam said. Slash gave two to Jam and two to Tommy.
"Let's find the girls," Slash suggested. The boys stayed together and searched the streets to find the girls.

"FIRE!" Was the last thing Slash heard before being pelted with snowballs. Slash fired back, but his handmade snowballs were no match for Wendy's contraption.
"Retreat!" Slash yelled. He ran off to his house, Jam and Tommy following.
The girls gave no chase this time.

"Okay, guys. The girls got us again. This is making me hate Becky more, if that's possible. Now, we need to think of something that will make us able to counter fire from those girls," Slash explained.
    Jam and Tommy nodded.
"And I have an idea. It may not work, but we should at least give it a try," Slash said.
"What kind of idea?" Jam asked.
"Well, one of us has to be sneakier than the others. Jam, I think you are the one. I need you to infiltrate Wendy's house and find the blueprints for those snowguns. Bring them back to my house. If you see anything else that could help the girls win again, take that, too. If you take cover somewhere, I doubt Wendy will spot you at all," Slash explained.
"Doesn't sound hard, but she has pretty big glasses. I think she may spot me," Jam said.
"Well, then, you need to be sneaky. Really sneaky. Got it?" Slash asked.
"Well, I guess I have no choice. I accept the mission," Jam said.
Slash saluted Jam. Jam smiled and saluted back.
"Be sure to bring me back some food. I'll probably be hungry," Tommy said.
    All the boys laughed.
    "No, really," Tommy said.
"Alright, alright. I'll see what she has and if I see something you like I'll bring it back," Jam said.
    And so, the "meeting" ended.

"Oh yeah! We are the best!" Linda exclaimed. "We beat them twice in a row!"
"They'll never think of attacking us now! Or, they'd be stupid if they did," Becky said.
"They are stupid, aren't they?" Wendy asked.
The girls all laughed and headed home.

    Chapter 3

After school the next day, the boys met at Slash's house again.

"Okay, Jam. Today you infiltrate Wendy's house and steal the snowgun blueprints. If you can, steal three snowguns, too. It'll save us time and money. Tommy and I will distract Becky and Linda, but Wendy said she can't participate today. So, you don't have a very easy job ahead of you, but I think you can handle it," Slash said.
"I'll try to do a good job, sir," Jam said, smirking and saluting.
"That's the spirit! Now go!" Slash ordered.
    And Jam was off.
"Okay, Tommy. We distract Linda and Becky by using buildings as cover again, but we don't fight back. We RUN! And only stop to catch our breath when we know we have a safe hiding spot!" Slash explained.
"Okay," Tommy said. Tommy would at least try to run.
And so the boys got going.

The boys reached Linda's house. Linda was outside tending to her front yard garden. Slash made a snowball and chucked it at Linda. Linda screamed and saw Slash. She ran inside to get her snowgun. When she came out she loaded it up.
"You won't be laughing for long, Slash!" Lind yelled, running towards the boys.
Slash and Tommy ran off in different directions. Linda followed Slash and radioed Becky, telling her to find Tommy.

Meanwhile, Jam was in Wendy's backyard. He looked for a way to get into her house.
"Ah ha!" Jam said to himself. He had found a weak window leading to Wendy's basement. He opened the window and slid in. Then he closed the window.
From the basement, Jam went upstairs, careful to not make much noise coming up the stairs.
Before he knew it, Jam was on the main floor of Wendy's house. He new Wendy's room was on the second floor.
Looking around the ground floor, Jam saw that no parents were home. This meant only Wendy was around. Jam carefully continued upstairs.
He heard a shower going. Jam knew it was Wendy. She had slipped into a puddle of muddy water today, and she was probably getting cleaned up. Jam knew this gave him some extra time. He crept into Wendy's room, where she kept all her scientific stuff.
"Now to find those snowgun blueprints," Jam whispered.

Slash was behind a dumpster at the "Snowy's" fast food joint. He watched Linda take a wrong turn behind a barber shop and ran off.

Tommy was hiding on the side of "Snowy's", although Slash didn't know this. He went inside and ordered a cheeseburger. Then he took it outside and hid somewhere.
"Can't hide on an empty stomach!" Tommy said.

    Jam heard a door open.
(She must be done showering!) He thought.
Jam had to hide somewhere, and fast. So, he jumped into Wendy's closet.
He could hear Wendy's footsteps. When he heard no more, he looked through a small opening in the closet; the closet was not fully closed. Wendy was no longer in her room, so Jam quietly opened the closet and stepped outside.
Looking around, he found some blue papers under Wendy's bed.
"These must be the blueprints!" Jam said, quietly. He also found Wendy's snowgun under the bed. He took the blueprints and the gun and ran downstairs. Wendy was making something in the kitchen; Jam could hear her humming. He quickly opened the front door and ran off, closing the door behind him. Wendy heard this, and went to check the front door, but Jam was already gone.

Slash was now in trouble. Linda was hot on his tail. She fired her gun numerous times, but only twice had she hit Slash. Slash was running when Jam contacted him by means of a walkie-talkie.
"Slash! I've got the stuff! Get to your house, now!" Jam said.
"Okay, I'll try!" Slash yelled, running.
On the way home, Slash met up with Tommy and ran away from Linda and Becky. The girls were tired, but Slash had more stamina then them and Tommy had just eaten, so he had more power in him.

At Slash's house, the boys looked over the blueprints.
"Wow, this is great!" Slash exclaimed.
"Thank you, thank you," Jam said, smiling.
"Now we need to make some," Tommy said.
"Oh no! How do we do that?!" Slash yelled.
"Well, I stole Wendy's gun. We could examine it carefully," Jam suggested.
And so the boys examined the gun.
"There's no way we'll ever be able to make one of these," Tommy said, glumly.
"Well, Wendy will probably make more because she lost one; I guess there'll be more 'infiltrations'," Jam said.
"Great idea! Jam, tomorrow, you infiltrate again. You steal a snowgun, got it?" Slash said.
    "Yep," Jam agreed.

Wendy searched for her snowgun. She couldn't find it.
"Oh well, looks like I'll have to make another one," she said to herself.

Linda and Becky had gone home and were looking forward to tomorrow, when they thought they would be able to "get the boys good". However, they didn't know the boys were secretly stealing snowguns.
