I am currently ripping random graphics for Snowboard Kids 2 and posting them up here for my own amusement.

So I start off with the various emotions of the cast:

Either that's part of her hair, or Wendy has two sets of eyebrows. Also that weird sparkly-eyed expression of Damien's gives me a new avatar idea...

Wendy does indeed have two sets of eyebrows.

Since the textures for her eyeglasses are expanded in the game. [The rips above show them in their normal size.] And the game uses specific angles when Wendy is surprised or sad, so that you almost never see her regular eyebrows, which are a part of her skin as shown below:

Thank you very much for ripping these! I never knew there was actual textures that showed Wendy without her glasses.

And for a long time, I thought Linda (idle expression) was just smiling with her mouth open or something, but it was actually red lipstick.

Well, that's a new feat I shall use next time I draw Linda.

Heh, never noticed that it showed them in the helicopter window.

And yes, that's definitely Tommy, considering the cutscene in which we see this helicopter, Slash and Jam are pursuing it.

Oh yeah, I totally forgotten about that. I was half-asleep when I was ripping these, didn't help that I forgotten the stories.

I fixed the image above and also added some other parts of Linda's helicopter.

Haha, I always thought Linda had her mouth open too.

The female character's mouths are placed really low on their faces, like where their chins are. Until today, I didn't know Wendy even had a mouth, or even eyes behind her glasses!

What's amazing about these games is that even a decade or so after they were released, we keep finding little things we never noticed before. Great job, eniggy!

Interesting that Tommy and Wendy don't have an "Angry" emotion. Even Nancy has one, although I think it was rarely seen in the game, the only times I recall seeing her angry was during the Jingle Town cutscene, and the ending.

Another thing of note is that Linda and Nancy have identical mouths in several frames. Jam and Slash also have a few similarities in their expressions (mostly in the eyebrows), but they're not as blatant.

I also didn't realized that Wendy had eyes either! I always thought they won't bother with it since her glasses are always over her face.

Therefore it's pretty interesting to note her as having dark blue eyes.

Actually if you look in the manual (page 36 or scan 18) there's a comic strip where you see Wendy without her glasses, and she's portrayed being quite cute as Slash is blushing when he sees her.

So yup, she does have eyes!

Now this guy makes me wonder: Look at his bandaged-up bulbous nose, the shirt that says "PAPA", and the brown hair...
Could this man be Tommy's father?!

Now let's say the above is true and this man is Tommy's Papa. So to make things even weirder, you see this man three times in Sunny Mountain. [You only see him once in X-Course.] Just how many "Papa's" does Tommy even have?!
