Okay, I've played the game for a few days now, so I'm going to a little review on how I really feel about this game.
Gameplay:7/10
Well the gameplay really hasn't changed much, save for new characters, new shops and the new ending movies. So for people who want something fresh that has not been done before, your not going to find it here.
The cutscenes are just slideshows with background music and voice acting, something I was quite disapointed with. Of course there are the upsides to this. The new characters are great thing to have, so you can experiment with new characters point out their strengths and weaknesses. The Wear and Bleach booths are a great way to customise your character, and you could always use a different costume for a specific course, for a new feel to it.
As for the board booth, there are only two new board graphics, and that's about it.
Sound:9/10
The sound is truly a sight to behold(well not sight anyway).
They have all re-mixed the songs, giving them a new feel.
I especially like the re-mix for Sunset Rock, giving it a fast paced feel, good for racing to.
They have also given Rookie Mountain a new song, which is pretty good, and re-mixed the old song for Ninja Land and gave it a feudal Japan feel, which is the best point in this category.
The voice acting has it's ups and downs.
The girls all sound sqeakey, mainly because of their female Japanese seiyus,
and in my opinion, Jam's voice acting is terrible. His grunts of pain are simply him saying "Ouch" and when saying "Ow", it sounded like he was saying the letter "O" in a slow deep voice. And when he hit someone with a shot, he said "Bravo!" which was just annoying.
Graphics:9/10
The edited graphics make the courses look amazing. And also added a degree of diffculty in Dizzy Land, which they made the teacups move around, making you scamble for a wall to hug to avoid getting hit by one. The giant snowman in Sunset Rock could also shoot further.
But, they also took away some of the major attactions of the courses, such as the giant ferris wheel at the end of the course, something devatsated me when I found out.
Replayability:10/10
Starting again will be a total blast as you be able to experience it all over again.
Overall:9/10
While Plus did have it's flaws, it is argubly the best installment in the Snowboard Kids series.
