Hmmm, let me take a shot at this and give my opinion:

JamXWendy
Sarah got me into this one, but I must say that I find the idea to be utterly adorable. I can understand that people go like "No, Jam is cool and Wendy is nerdy-like" but actually that is what makes it so attractive to me. And besides, to me personally, Wendy doesn't appear all that 'nerdy', as in: weak and uncertain. She is more like a whizzkid who is capable of retaliating when nessecary. One fact that I take into consideration is that Wendy moved to Canada from New York and that Jam is a fan of the New York Rap Scene. The thing that made it definite for me was the screenshot of Jam standing with Wendy and the little heart-speechbubble popping up above him.

Another one Sarah got me hooked on. I don't know, but I just kinda see it happen. It's more like that they're both peaceloving (at least in the three first games) and that they are both types that tend to stay OUT of trouble. And somehow I see Nancy being the one that comforts Tommy when he's upset, since she appears to be the type that takes these carings high up.

As for SlashXNancy... not to be offensive, but I get the SoraXKairi idea about this. The love interest (or the idea for it at least) may be present, but to me, it's not that special enough to actually develop.

I actually don't have a lot of gay couples I like, but this one does seem... different. I have no idea, but I just like the idea of these two rivals secretly getting along, just like Pamela said in one of the cutscenes indeed. Because even though they act as if they have little in common, they do have similarities. It's that their fathers don't like each other, or else they could have been best friends for the same count. Ofcourse those two being both too proud to admit it to one another, at least in public.

So that's my humble opinion about things...

Barring OCs, it's almost always a combination of Slash/Nancy, Jam/Linda, and Tommy/Wendy, the last one being leftovers because the author wants to pair everyone up so they don't look biased against the "ugly ones."

Well, if you are planning to write a FF.net story with your parings in it, I would give you a good review, anyways, because I hate flame content.

There's currently no rule against topic necromancy due to the lack of active posting here. Also, since she did stay on topic, it's technically not spam.

When I first started noticing this pairing, I wasn't really sure about it becoming reality. Now that I think about it, I find it to be just plain adorable. I know that some people will say, "No, Slash and Linda hate each other.", but do they just
PRETEND to hate each other? I mean, Slash might tease Linda because he likes her. Linda might do the same thing to Slash. I don't know. I'm just babbling.

Jam and Wendy (possibly) have feelings for each other. My friends at school don't understand how that's possible (because they think that Jam is the cool type and Wendy is the "nerdy" type), but I find it to be just adorable. Besides, Wendy's not a nerd, she's more like the whiz kid of the group (like Veertje said) who always has a crazy idea. In almost every cutscene, we see Jam talking to Wendy. Also note that if you see Jam and Wendy talking to each other in the main menu, you will see a heart balloon pop up above Jam's head. Also, if you talk to those two when your character is currently a boy, Jam won't say hello, just the "..." balloon will pop up above Jam's head.

I suspect that Ruby and Pamela like each other. One example is that they both don't enter the snowboarding tournament to prove their skills. Pamela enters to witness Linda and Nicole's ridiculous dares. Ruby enters for the money. But that's just my opinion. I'm not really sure if Ruby X Pamela is possible. (Wow, that was short! )

This is possible because Nancy and Tommy tend to be the modest, quiet ones of the group. They never brag about their skills. Another example is that Nancy seems to be the only one who seems to comfort Tommy when he's upset (see the SBK1 credits: Tommy loses his hamburger and Nancy asks Slash to give it back). Also, these two seem to be the ones who tend to stay away from every kind of trouble that comes (they didn't even WANT to be in the tournament.). I was sort of shocked in SBK+ in Linda's ending when Jam asked Nancy out for hamburgers. I need some kind of explaination.

I agree with Sarah. And also just because Tommy and Nancy didn't want to join the competition in the first place dosen't mean they like each other. I think you think because their personalities are the same, means they should be paired up.

Oh well at least it's not Slash/Nancy, can't stand that pairing! *Puts a piece of duck tape over Princess Pac's mouth before she starts whining about it.*

Yeah, I just wish there were a decent Slash/Nancy story out there. I still prefer Slash/Linda and Jam/Nancy though.

Jam X Linda - Actually, I really hate this couple with a passion, just have slash to Kaede or Linda if its ok for the forums(i dont think that couple is gonna happen.) and have Linda with OC, just not these two together, no offense, its just painful thinking about them.
