Official Redesign Feedback Thread

As you have probably noticed, we have a shiny new look! However, with me being a relative novice when it comes to graphics, there may well be some issues, so if you have any problems, post them here and I'll see what I can do. If you want to say how much you love it, post that here too!

Edit: I've made a few other small changes. The Snowboard Kids Plus forum is no longer a sub-forum, since it's actually more popular than the others, and a few forum descriptions have been refined.

Love the new look, Joe! But it will take some time getting used to though, but that's probably because I was so used to the old look.

How do I get the artwork of the characters above? I would like them on a white background behind them!

You can't unfortunately. I took them from the Snowboard Kids Plus manual, pasted them on the banner and removed the edges as necessary. I've still got them saved as separate layers, but I haven't cut them out completely. I could probably do that at some point though.

Obviously I joined when this skin was already put up, so I never really did see the previous one, but I really like this skin! I love the simplicity of it and the colour scheme's blues, greys and whites go together wonderfully with the theme of the site (Snowboarding, obviously!)

Thanks for all the positive feedback! Annoyingly, though, I logged on just now to find one of the icons (sub-forum marker - no new posts) wasn't showing up. So I logged on to my Imageshack and the file was still there, but inexplicably wouldn't load. Imageshack has been nothing other than problematic, so I may upload all the images to the forum. That way, the only time the images should go down is when the forum goes down (or when we exceed our bandwidth).

I did that or put up alternative text to safeguard buttons in case of issues like that before, didn't know if you wanted more buttons though.
