Stemmed from a short conversation about zodiac signs in Enigmaopoeia's topic about Pamela's hair, it made me think of which signs the kids would have. It's also common for character profiles to list blood types as well (which goes along with the belief that it somehow correlates of personality), so I thought of that too.
Here's what I listed in terms of zodiac for the "Classic Kids", as well as my explanations:
[SLASH KAMEI: ARIES]
The typical traits of an Aries match our spikey-headed snowboarder to a tee. Known for their passion and energy, Aries is known for being adventurous, enthusiastic, and competitive, but can also be quick-tempered, impulsive, and impatient. Sounds like our Slash!
[NANCY NEIL: CANCER]
Cancerians are very motherly by nature, being sympathetic and protective of those they care about. They also tend to have fluctuating moods. This especially shows in SBK1's ending. She first calmly tries to get Slash to return Tommy's burger, but then loses her temper when Slash eats said burger anyways. However, Nancy's maternal instincts kick in again in an attempt to get Linda to not unleash her wrath on Slash and Jam.
[JAM KUEHNEMUND: SAGITTARIUS]
Like Jam, the sign is typically optimistic and outgoing, with a great love of freedom...anything goes as long as it's enjoyable. Sagittarians will often say exactly what's on their mind, even if it hurts someone's feelings. On the dark side, they can be boastful and while they make friends easily, they are inconsistent with relationships and hate to be confined to one spot. The simularities don't end there, as the lucky colors of a Sagittarius are blue, royal blue, purple, and white - and he wears those colors in the first game!
[LINDA MALTINIE: LEO]
Leos are known for their love of grandeur and thrive in the spotlight, and this certainly applies to Miss Maltinie. Leos are warm-hearted and generous (almost to the point of spoiling) when in a good mood, but can be bossy and pompous in a bad one. Leos are pretty dramatic, and will throw quite a fit when challenged. Take it from me, I'm a Leo myself. O_o
[TOMMY PARSY: TAURUS]
With all of his pondering and his easy-going nature, it's easy to mistake Tommy for a Pisces, but there a quite a few differences which make him not fishy at all. Taureans are known to be steadfast and slow, but can be greedy and self-indulgent when it comes to material goods. They also don't like to be pushed into a situation they don't approve of - they'll resist with all of their stubborn might. The typical Taurus also tends to have a heavy-set build, as well.

It was hard to pick a sign for the mysterious ninja, but it's obvious that he must be one of the "quieter" signs. Virgos are reserved, but have a keen eye and practical intellect. They're also fond of order, and can be cold and critical at times. While Virgos are slow to befriend, once you have their trust, they will be very loyal and happy to be of service...like to an unknown master?
[NICOLE COUCH: CAPRICORN]
Nicole and Linda seem to be almost alike at first glance, as Leo and Capricorn share a few traits. Nicole seems to be the type that would only spend money if it were absolutely neccessary...like if it meant one-upping that darned Maltinie girl. She is ambitious in her goals and generally kind to the other kids, but seems a little aloof and reserved (except around Linda).

Ruby seems to be representative of the childish nature that Leo can possess, such as vanity, selfishness, and stubbornness. At the same time, he's sunny and flamboyant as all get-out, but sensitive on the inside. Leos can be touchy as well, and HATE criticism...don't insult his muscles or he'll give you a piece of justice! MUSCLE PUNCH!!!

On the positive side, Libras are known to be easy-going, charming, pleasant, and just LOVE to be around people. Sound familiar? Libras thrive on relationships, so they try their best to keep the peace among a group. However, Librans can be a bit devious; what they want, they will get...even if it requires a bit of seduction!

They're a bit eccentric, and generally love to help others, even if they seem a little detached. Besides, how can Wendy not be considered creative (and maybe a little odd) when she managed to convert her house into a snowboard course?

Scorpios are rather secretive about their affairs, and like other water signs, feel things very deeply; just look at how Damien throws a tantrum when he loses a race! Scorpios are known to be very persistent with their goals, and if you cross them, they have a vengeful streak a mile wide. Power (in any form) fascinates the Scorpio, which may ring with the little demon's goal to conquer Snow Town.
