    Hello all~

I'm glad to be back here, and I know you all have a BUNCH of questions for me. So I'll let you formulate, type up and post those, because rest assured, my busiest years of college are officially over. I'll only be taking one class in my fall semester, and after that, it's graduation, baby!

And now for that nice little idea I mentioned in the topic's subtitle. Oh yes. It's a rather lovely one that I've been considering for some time.

There has been a trend with some gaming websites or blogs where they create their own YouTube channel dedicated to all things relevant to their interests/subjects. I've recently seen it done with Starmen.net (the impressive Earthbound/Mother series fansite), which also has created its own channel on YouTube to host Mother series music, video, interviews with the game's creators, special events/conventions, and more.

Which got me thinking, would it be wrong to propose that Snowboard Kids World create its own YouTube channel to host all things SBK, including our own personal discoveries (Kamei Rocket in SBK 1, anyone?), music, speed records, game footage, cutscenes... you name it, as long as it's SBK.

(Hmm. In retrospect, maybe I should have created a poll for this. o.o)

I haven't really been on here much either. For the past few weeks I've been into the Soul Calibur fandom.

As for your idea, sounds great! Although I don't really have anything to give for the Channel. But I know that Vera and PP have some things.

A very interesting idea. I like the idea, and it may also help generate some traffic amongst the fans again. I'd say let's start it up, and see what we can do there.

I'm still a bit clueless on working YouTube myself, but it'd be a great idea I believe to start the channel up to have fans and the like be able to host their material relevant to the series. By all means, let's get something started!

I've been working with it for over two years, so I'm quite familiar with uploading, editing preferences, video options, all that fun stuff. I'm still devising a way that our members who have YouTube channels could interact with it (such as add their own content), so there are things I have yet to finalize and sort out. :3

That sounds like a great idea, If someone directs me to a recording program, I could record the special tricks and such on SBK+
Finally got a copy of SBK1 after first renting it ages ago.

This used to be buy-only, but it's been recently released as a download. It takes both still shots and video and is capable with just about every recent Windows operating system (Windows 98, ME, XP, Vista, etc).

There are also emulators that record emulation/gameplay footage out there, but I can't list any specific ones to name, as I've been looking for one myself as well.

but Im having a hard time trying to record audio AND video at the same time, not to mention all the full screen hassle. :jamdsbad:

Anyway thanks Raichu for the link, I hope I could contribute to the channel sometime soon.

Then just do it on a window screen. Sheesh.
