Description: Slash races against his lover, but who's going to win? *Yaoi Warning!*
Disclaimer (By Author): Really now, why would I own this and then be writing fanfiction about it? Anyways, don't complain about OOC-ness please, the characters don't really have set personalities. Flames are meaningless, because I love this couple. This is just a short piece of fluff, so have fun. ^.^ Finished 7-15-01
Story
Chapter 1
It was down to the last two contestants in Linda's snowboarding tournament. Slash gave a sideways glance to his opponent. He was determined to win, despite the fact that he was in love with, and not to mention dating the person he was trying to beat.
He allowed himself a small smile before doing a trick off from one of the many cliffs on the course. Slash devoted most of his thoughts to turning sharp corners and doing tricks, but every now and then his mind would wander, and he'd imagine what his lover and he would do after the race.
After one "interesting" thought, and a lapse of concentration, a particularly nasty rock got in Slash's way. And needless to say, he tripped. Very soon the other person took the lead, smiling all the way. Slash cursed his bad luck. What a time to trip, especially since he was just meters away from the finish line.
In a last attempt to win, he launched a parachute attack at the figure in front of him. Unfortunately, the parachute veered to the right and hit the trunk of a tree. His racing rival rode past the finish line with a cheer.
Slash groaned and pulled up to the end. He was very disappointed that he'd come in second (also last) and not first, but the huge grin on his lover's face made the whole thing a bit more bearable.
Slash unhooked his snowboard and walked over to the overly happy person. "Hey," he said, "Great job."
Jam turned around from waving to the crowd of people who'd been watching the race. "You did really great yourself," he said, then he whispered to his boyfriend, "My house in half an hour?"
Slash smiled and nodded. "See you there."
Jam blew a kiss to Slash when no one was looking, and Slash blushed lightly. He might not have been the smartest person in the world, but he was absolutely sure of one thing...
Half an hour went by *way* too slow...
