Alright, the RP Forum has been up for approximately a month now, and as all new things, there appears to be a problem that's already set itself within the forum, in this case, the issue of "recruitment of new players".
As of late (And I will not spout off names) there have been unsanctioned additions to people's RP regarding people joining in, and people aren't aware of it; furthermore, certain topic creators have been failing to take into account these added people, and this has left people (Me especially) completely confused as to who's RPing whom within a scenario. This has to stop.
In such, I would like to send out a reminder to two parties.
To Aspiring Players: If you want to join in an RP, DO NOT JUST SIMPLY JUMP IN! This confuses both the Topic Creator and the Moderators as to whom is actually participating and who isn't. If the Topic Creator does not have you on their updated list, YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THE STORYLINE AND SHOULD NOT POST IN THE TOPIC! Unsanctioned posts from people not involved in a scenario veer off the focus of the RP, and in such count as a form of disruption. If you wish to join an RP Topic, PM the Topic Creator or apply for their Topic if they have a post in the recruitment forum, and wait for them to add you into their list before posting.
To Topic Creators: UPDATE YOUR TOPIC FORMATS REGULARLY! I can not stress this enough, when you get new players, you are to incorporate them into your topic format under the "Current Players" section, so that players of the game know who to expect in the topic. Failure to update this list begins to confuse players already within the game, as well may even discourage continuation of the topic if no new players enter, or if players do not join.
This is a reminder to everyone, and I will be enforcing this as it was specifically listed in the rules, failure to abide by it will result in moderator action.
