    Choose only five.

    1. Linda! Need I say more?

    2. More crazier courses.

    3. Get rid of MAX and replace him with Coach.

    4. Mr. Dog returning to become the shop keeper for the game.

    5. A better fleshed out storyline, than can be played out in a story mode.

1: Return of Linda! If they want to continue the game as it is now, at least give an explanation as to why she was missing.

2: Return to the original cartoon-like feel of the game, rather than make it too serious. The game was whimsical and enjoyable! Now it seems to fail at what it's trying to do.

3: Bring Wendy back, I know some people may not have enjoyed her that much in SBK2, but I think she could add some much-needed features to the game, such as different game methods and perhaps some plot development.

4: Make a combination system of trick systems from SBK1 and SBK2, allow tricks to be free-style as was in SBK2, but make certain patterns permit unique tricks that only specific characters can do for bonus money!

5: Bring the music back! I dislike the repeating tracks in SBK: DS, I want the tracks uniqued per level again, as well as to bring back the happy-go-lucky feeling music that was in the original two games!

        1) Bring all the canon characters together.

        2) Give the kids more outfit varieties.

        3) Bring Nancy and Tommy back to their old personalities. (I think that was what angered fans the most.)

        4) Give the characters more lines, I don't like the way in SBK DS, when they repeat the same lines for a certain action. :bradgrumpy: Maybe they could have different lines for different characters, according to personality. (Ex: During a race, Wendy would pass by Linda, or Nancy, and say "Hi!", and they would say hi back.)

        5) Make the story line more RPG like.

          2. All the characters besides the SBKDS ones back (Except maybe Brad.)

          3. Unique level design back and boss battles.

          4. Bring back the original SBK gameplay and music.

you know how the cutscenes in SBK+ were in cartoon/manga format? Why don't we have a game that looks like we're actually playing the cartoon itself? :wendyidea:

Many of you pretty much summed up my choices on what to add on the next game (if there is going to be one) so I guess I could add other stuff.

                                  1. More costume options and oppertunities for customization: Have the default costume plus ones from all of the previous games and maybe totally new ones as bonuses.

                                  2. Take the slide shows of SBK+ to a whole new level, either by making a cartoon out of each cutscene or let the sprites do the talking with decent voice acting
(Sorry if I'm ignorant, but do the seiyus actually voice the slideshows, or are there captions or something? :bradworry: )

                                  3. Go back to their roots! This fanbase exists because of it! (Over the top courses, slapstick comedy (pun completely intended), and the super bignosed deformity that is Snowboard Kids)

since we're talking about what we want in SBK 3, Why don't we talk about stages?

                                        A Movie Set/Studio
Pamela would feel right at home here. This place would be full of facades and props. The kids could cruise through the genres like a sci fi scene, an action flick, and maybe a horror movie

                                        Cyberspace
C'mon its the 21th century people! A stage in cyberspace will have practically limitless possibilities, heck the kids could even surf the web (literally!) When they reach a lift they could turn into cyber code, something like what they do in MegamanEXE and teleport back to the beginning.

The gang arrives at Wendy's Spaceship and shows them around. Linda and Slash get into a fight and Linda pushes Slash into a machine. Slash accidentally flips a switch and the machine teleports the gang into cyberspace. While they are trying to figure a way out, they might as well spend time in this electric playground...

                                        A Gigantic Mall
If the kids are going to get a little older (from an SBK1 perspective) this seems like a great fit. Places could include a movie theatre, stores grinding on an escalator and an elevator could be used as a lift.

                                        A Starlit City
This might sound similar to night highway, but it sounds like a pretty cool concept. I always wanted the characters to go on a stage like the first level of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. On the streets using cars as ramps and maybe even going through buildings like the Couch Co. as shortcuts.

A Secret Village in the Trees
I know this sounds reminiscent to Naruto but what would happen if the kids stumbled upon the actual village Shinobin and Kaede live in? The village would be high in the treetops with twisting branches used as rails and paths, going past treehouses and maybe with some ninja as spectators. Who knows it could happen right?

theres one feature i like to add if its ok with everyone...

Licensed music. the SSX series included it, so why not this one?

                                          some music to shred to:
                                          -Leftfield "Phat Planet"
-Future Sound of London "We Have Explosive"

                                          My main features:
-Fast gameplay with physics similar SSX
-great sense of speed with a little sonic riders thrown in there.
-hundreds of tricks to perform with an SSX trick system!
                                          -Customization of characters and gear

The one problem with licensed music is that the game company has to pay the author's rights for it, which could cost them a fair amount of money, and it'd only be worth paying for that if their game was extremely popular (Like Need for Speed Underground for example).

Anyway, the feature I would have for it are :

1: Everything the old games had - Yeah, I can't decide between having all the courses, characters, design, whatever, so just include everything they had (unless they'd be planning to release the old games on the VC or something).

2: Costume customization system - Everyone here want that, so there can't be much room for excuse about not including this. To have a even wider range of costume choices, why not separate the costumes in parts : Head, body, legs, miscs (Miscs could be for special accessories like Cat ears, Devil's tail, Angel's wings, etc.). And if you want to extend it even further, the game company could release some bonus costume sets for 2 dollars or so.

3: Cross-Platform Online Multiplayer - In case they'd want to release this game on all three major home consoles (Wii, Xbox360 and PS3), why not make it cross-platform so you can play with anyone, no matter what console they are using.

4: Arena-Mode - I haven't thought of this idea all the way through, but basically, it's Mario Kart's battle mode for SBK. I'm thinking about balancing it with giving the characters new stats for this mode : Health bar, Recovery time, Offensive, Defensive.

Some weapons, items and special boards might be not available in this mode for game balance, like the pans and the Ninja Board (if they'd include the old special boards in the game).

5: Custom Course System - Pretty self-explanatory. Make your own Race/Arena Course with a various choice of unique textures, ramps and such. This might be a pretty heavy feature to implement into the game, since there could be so many things people would want to add into their courses (self-made textures, custom music, etc.), and considering the Wii's limitation (lack of harddrive support), this feature might not be possible. Maybe for the next gen console?

I might as well throw in some courses idea I had in mind (don't hit me if you got the same idea before I did :nancydsblush: )

Rocky Volcano - Located somewhere in either Crazy Jungle or Turtle Island, there is a big active volcano in which you can... "snowboard" on.

The way I'm imagining it would be having two or three alternate routes, one mostly outside the volcano, one mostly inside, and one that varies between both. Some obvious course hazards would be either lava pit and fireballs coming out of the lava as you cross a bridge or something, rockslides (outside) and Tectites.... just kidding. The only thing I find a bit bad about this course is the lava pits, it's kinda extreme for a kid game, but just make the character react like Mario or Link from Wind Waker, and it should be fine.

(Yeah, I know I made lot's of Mario and Zelda references in this course idea :slashrolleye: )

Virtual Mountain - Always managing to find new ways of experiencing snowboarding, Wendy Lane does it again by creating a course in a new exciting virtual world. The way I imagine the cutscene : The kids get invited to Wendy's house to be then transfered into Wendy's computer, and appear in the Virtual course, all of them having "tron-like" costumes.

The way I imagine the course is in colored wireframe with a sort of static background (like in Megaman Battle Network or something), maybe add in some ad panels, like "Wendy's Internet". Some unique hazards for this course could be parts where gravity is reversed, and maybe even have alternate routes you could access when switching gravity, like a vortex or something, and "firewalls" appearing and dissapearing at random on certain parts of the course, blocking you if you run into them.

And that's about all I could think of for the game. Another suggestion I would've added is "Create your own character", but I already got 5 features explained already.

Everything else has pretty much been said.

1.Maybe indepth online features like being able to host rooms with different rules like slash only or like dragon boards only.Even ability to put restrictions on certain boards , so that people don't go for same combination each time.If you like to play for fun , you can just leave settings off. There can also be random matches for people that don't care.

Great way to keep some balance to the game and keep people from being outright powerful. You could want simple match but everyone is always picking legendary boards.
