    Hi everyone... whoever is still alive around here anyway!

    I've recently gotten back to playing snowboard kids and I still love it an awful lot. After searching the net for every possible piece of fan art and fanfictions, I stumbled upon this place and thought I'd come and keep company to the few survivors out here!

    I've started playing sbk at a friend's a long time ago, and actually started on sbk 2 using Nancy (hey, she was cute and beginner friendly!) but rapidly got to learn that Linda is the one to choose.
    The first sbk game I owned myself was actually sbk+ (yeah, crazy huh?), but sadly it's only a pirate version. Still turns on ps1 which seems much more enjoyable than on emulator. I've played through the whole game, got every ending and everything, and my favourites were Pamela (she's like a strong Nancy!) and of course Linda.
    And my latest addition to my collection was sbk1 on N64, I actually asked for the 2, but got this instead, but oh well, I kept it anyway!

    Anyway, I hope I can get to entertain a few people around here, I'm a pretty good fan anyway and I'll be sticking around to pounce on any sign of life here!

        Oh I'm pretty sure I will indeed enjoy myself here, I tend to think the smallest communities are also the friendliest!

        Now that you're mentioning questions, dear Linda (who nevers fails to win the game), I'm thinking of giving you some extra job on that asking topic of yours, to keep you busy and all that. Maybe we could try and go for a question a day, if you're up to it?

                Hello there, Lordbolt. Nice to see a new guy around here as well. I've been a bit busy these days but I like it to see a fellow SBK fan out there.

                Wow, you got SBK+ too? Darn, first Linda then you, is it suddenly lucky around here, I really wish I could play that game too one of these days.

                Though do you have a bit of Japanese language understanding, by any chance?

                    @Linda: yes well, it's pretty hard to miss it, I mean, you've ruled over every sbk game yet, except that weird DS one which I don't own anyway, so yeah!

                    @Moonwulf: Technically I don't really own sbk+, it's a copy CD, but the game's on it and works just fine! Sadly, I'm pretty useless at japanese except the various through words/sentences that always show up in games, but I've never been able to understand any of sbk+'s story mode. Didn't stop me from clearing it all thought!

                    Actually, the fan translations on youtube was what got me really back on sbk (I actually understood why Linda had spaghetti sauce on her nose, and seeing evil Pamela was shocking, I thought she was nice!!)
                    I had to show the game to all my friends who still didn't know it, and I've been back at it ever since!

                      In regards to the DS game, it seemed the developers decided to see how my cousin would do in the next tournament, and I guess they just didn't want me dominating the slopes again, you know? :lindalaugh:

                      Regardless, at least I'm still around here, no worries about that!

                        This place really wouldn't be the same without you!

                        As for your absence in sbk DS, I've got another theory: the game wouldn't be able to faithfully represent your beauty of your teenager incarnation, yup, I'm sure that's the real reason!

                          I like that explanation! Works well to explain that, besides I'd knock Nancy's image in that game down a few pegs if I showed up, hehehe.
