Favourite: Grass Valley. I just love the whole design of the course, at the start you have the choice of boarding through the mines or around the cliffside, through to a sunflower field then finally through the town. And I always think that the kids would race on this early in the morning, when the grass would be wet with dew. I think that could be the only logical way of them being able to board on the grass. And the music is very giddy and adds to the cheerfulness of the course, but it also has this feeling of urgency, because you are racing.

Least Favourite: A tie between Rookie Mountain and Ninja Land, just due to them being very short courses. I find them a bit tedious to race on, and the extra number of laps dosen't help either. I'll only play them when I feel like clearing the game from start to finish.

    SBK2

Favourite: Linda's Castle. I love this course so much. When I play SBK2 this is usually the first one I play. I love the different terrains and the whole feel of racing from the roof of the castle at the start, through the castle then finally into the big Colloseum at the end. It's just epic.

Least Favourite: X-Course. I don't really have a lot to say about this one. The most realistic course in the game, and the most boring.

    SBKDS

(This will be a bit brief since I haven't played SBKDS for ages.)

Favourite: Canada. I loved the whole feel of this course. It sort of reminded me of the Peak 3 Backcountry course from SSX3.

Least Favourite: France. Apart from racing through the wine cellar, it was a very uninteresting course.

Favourite: Definitely Silver Mountain. It's the track I feel is the most balanced for a fair race. It's pretty long, it's pretty challenging, it's got a bit of everything and it never gets too extreme. There's not much too see visually, since it's well... fogged up... bu that also adds to the atmosphere. Everything feels a lot bigger when it's all white.
And of course Silver Mountain's theme is really awesome. Extra points for that too.

Least favourite: Quicks... wait, no. Rookie mountain. There's no challenge. This is the course where the lucky guy with the most pans is likely going to win and you can't do anything about it.

      SBK2

Favourite: I'll have to go for Linda's Castle too, with Ice land a close second. The castle is a cool stage. Lots of memorable sections, some nice and challenging corners and it feels pretty rewarding when you can pull it all off perfectly.

Least favourite: Ehhh... Crazy jungle, as it's not crazy really. The only big highlight of that stage is the huge drop, which always seems to get sabotaged by pans... The track is just a series of long sharp curves and flat sections, makes it run pretty slow overall. And I utterly fail at taking the grind shortcut. I despise it. A lot.
Also, I don't even consider X-course as a real course, if no it would definitely be the worst.

      SBKDS

      Aint played, can't tell.

Favorite: Night Highway. Awesome city scenery, awesome music (second only to Quicksand Valley), and always led to some great races with friends. The best atmosphere of any course.

Least favorite: Silver Mountain. It was just way too difficult and annoying for me to ever really want to play. I like a challenge, but not when I smack my face into the walls every few seconds.

        SBK2

Favorite: Linda's Castle. A really unique environment - we get to go inside Linda's home! Really varied terrains and just super fun.

Least Favorite: Ice Land, if only for getting so frustrated by the Damien Robot. Even with that nonwithstanding, the course doesn't stand out much to me.

        SBKDS:

The only course I can even remember would be Canada, so I'll say that's my favorite.

Most: A tie between Big Snowman and Night Highway for me, the courses were awesome and so was the music.

Least: Quicksand Valley OH GOD THE SAND!!! it manages to knock me off regardless of what path I take or what I try to avoid falling.

          SBK 2

Most: Snowboard Street Speed Cross Mode. The music was unique and I thought the course was interesting as well especially when looking at thewhere the characters lived along with those weird mountainside boost things at the middle of the course.

Least: Don't really have one, the closest I can say is Sunny Mountain; its only fault is being pretty basic.

SBK DS: Haven't played it so I can't say.
Finally got a copy of SBK1 after first renting it ages ago.

For the first game, my favourite was Nipon Nipon Land, because of the elegance of its design and how well it showcases the four seasons without shoving said theme in your face. Honourable mention to Dino Park though, that place was wacky and fun.
As for least favourite, definitely Night Highway due to the sheer awkwardness of the thin section, though I feel Grass Valley's fake upper pathway in the mine warrants a close second.

As for the other games, all of DS blends together for me and I haven't seen a copy of 2 in years so I can't really judge either.
