It was all pretty fun, one of my friends was all like, "THE LIFT IS MADE OF TURTLES?!" Had a few sessions then it eventually died down but I'm finally glad I did it.

Been playing SBK2 again. I've only just started to try and learn how to handle Mr. Dog. I reckon if I can get his turning down with him on a balance board, he'll be almost unbeatable, especially on Wendy's House, since that course has so many straightaways.

I like playing him on that course as well as Jingle Town, only part in Jingle Town that he has trouble is towards the end with that hairpin turn.

So after like 4 - 5 years I finally got myself a copy of the original Snowboard Kids! Problem is apparently I need a "controller pak" to save my progress. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Yeah. I had a old memory pak to save it on, but as I tried, my memory pak just decided to die on me like that, So I had to buy a new one. What's even more annoying is the save requires a lot of pages, enough to take the whole memory pak all to itself.
I really don't understand why they wouldn't just make a save battery inside the game cartridge itself, like with SBK2.

The game does have a really wierd glitch where it tells you that you don't have enough pages on your memory pak, even if there's no save data on it whatsoever. And the amount of pages a saved game does take up is ridiculous! SBK2 was much less of a hassle saving, which is one of the reasons why I think 2 is better (but their both great games).
