I had ideas about it while playing Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, like what if Snowboard Kids had something like a character specific special item in the game?

Here's some ideas me and Moonwulf have thought about.

Along with having greater speed and turning during the effects of the item, and having a cooldown time varying for each powers :

Slash
- Sends flaming circles around him.

Linda
- Shoots giant flaming slapsticks.
- She gets into her helicopter and drops/shoot bombs or other items in front of her or below her (if she's in the air.)

Jam
- Puts his Ghetto Blaster on his Snowboard, and sends soundwaves around him, stunning opponents nearby.

Nancy
- Sends golden butterflies to stun/slows down opponents in-front.

Tommy
- Eats a large hamburger which makes him plow through opponents at great speed.

Wendy
- A snowboard made of science! Hyper rocket, high-tech wings and laser cannons to blast through anyone in front of her.

Nicole
- Fires away a barrage of arrows. The arrows could have some item attached to them, like Bombs.

Pamela
- A film recording team surrounds her, shielding her and plowing through anyone in front.

Ruby
- Wears his golden outfit from his ending in SBKPlus, posing and blinding anyone near him.
- He becomes literally Suupaman.

Damien
- He rides his BK Mech from the Boss battle and sends a barrage of bullets all around him, or in front of him.

Shinobin
- Uses his Ninja abilities and katana to dash and cut through his opponents in front of him. Sounds kind of violent though, because of him using a katana.

Kaede
- Throws her big shuriken on her back, which could either lock on opponents or bounce around, before coming back to her to throw it again.

Slash - Multiplier

When Slash activates this item, for a whole minute, whenever he goes through a red shop he'll get six of that weapon instead of three. On a rare occasion, he can get nine shots instead.

Jam - Boombox

Jam throws a boombox to the nearest racer and if it hits them, the boombox will float around them and play whatever music the racer likes to listen and dance to (i.e Jam would breakdance to some rap or hip hop, Nancy and Linda would dance to some pop music, Damien would headbang to some heavy metal, Sinobin wouldn't dance but instead meditate in silence etc.) for around five seconds, losing control of their board during that period of time. The dancing can be interrupted by crashing into a wall or falling down a pit. Jam gets three boomboxes to shoot.

Nicole - Bow and Arrow

Similar to what Blue Bolt posted, except the arrows act the same as slapsticks, only they travel extremely fast and are very accurate so they can't be outrun or escaped by turning a sharp corner, you'll have to jump over or deflect them but due to their speed the timing is very tricky. Nicole gets three arrows to shoot.

Pamela - Autograph

Pamela takes out a polaroid of herself with her autograph on it, kisses it, then throws it to the nearest racer, the racer catches the polaroid and swoons over it for ten seconds, losing all control of their board and comes to a screeching halt. She gets three of these.
