I'm a fan of the bomb, myself. Yes I realize that it's hard to aim and that it's slow, but to be able to fire backwards as well as catch more than one person in the blast can be really effective. I also do like the slapstick, but let's be honest, I'm rich enough as it is, why would I need someone else's money? :lindalaugh:

Well dear Linda, here's a good one : What makes you so fast on the tracks?

I mean, you're definetly one of the fastest out there, and those who can rival your speed seem to have good reasons, like Tommy has gravity playing for him, Shinobin and Kade are probably using a whole arsenal of hidden ninja techniques, and Nicole is uh... cheating... somehow?
And of course Ruby slides on his ego, it's so massive it could propel anyone at lightning speed...

        So, what's your secret?

It's my ambition, my drive to win. Unlike Slash who simply has that ambition to be the best, my own goal is to win, to be the winner. Because of that, I make sure to keep myself faster than anyone that I possibly can.

Slash and Jam have joked more about how my nose and hair look, saying that "it makes her more aerodynamic and gives her more speed" but it's just one of their many jokes to try and get under my skin.

They're the ones left crying when it's me at the finish line first. :lindalaugh:

Looks like your question answering business is back on track!
Here's my question of the day, even thought it's actually several in one...

We've seen in snowboard kids 2 a birthday party of yours, was that your 11th or 12th? And you're the eldest in your class, how did that come to happen? Are you born early in the year, or did you miss a year because of your illness?

                Hmm, interesting question.

I guess if I had to choose, I'd say any of the birds of prey, they're very graceful and are a good expression of myself. I can be much like them, looming over everyone, then swooping down to defeat my opponents.

That was my 12th birthday, actually. Yes it's a common misconception between the games since the manual tells that I'm 10 in the SBK2 manual, I think the publisher was just a bit lax in his duties.

In the case of me being the eldest in my class...yeah, it was due to my illness. It knocked me out for so long that I eventually was removed from the year's class, and was to repeat it next year.

Before anyone goes about getting ideas that I flunked or something, I can say safely that was NOT the case, when you miss too much class, regardless if it's simply medical or because of delinquency, you are forced to retake the grade level.

Anyway, here's another one: Do you actually hold any grudge against Pamela for forcing you to go through your bet, whereas Nicole was just excused?

I don't hold any real grudge against her, given though I was really surprised when she decided to make both Nicole and I eat our words. I guess there's a silver lining in the whole thing though, shows that I was at least tough enough to go through with what I said, while Nicole can't stay true to her word. :lindaangel:

So no, no revenge, just a little miffed for losing, but otherwise, dusted myself off and took it like usual.

Funny how you mention good friends; sure I have a lot of good friends, and a few close friends, but all that still doesn't get me the one thing I do want, and that's a best friend, someone I can trust with anything, both personal and public. Sure many of the others can get along with me and have fun with me too, but I do wish sometime that I could have someone I can actually open up to.

Now then, what do you think of the others as snowboarders? Which ones do you fear, and what do you think are their best skills?

Nancy's a good person to tell some personal things too, sure, but there's some things even a friend like her I don't feel confident talking about, especially how she is now, you know? :lindafrown:

In the case of the other boarders, I'll give a small list below:

Slash - I really don't fear Slash that much, his ego and over-determination to win really hurts his chances against me and he lets losses get to him way too much, especially when its against me. The only thing I find he has going for him is that he definitely makes for a good challenge against people like Nancy and Wendy, he also gives Jam a run for his money. His best trait I'd say...he refuses to lose, and will do what he can to make it so that others lose so that he wins.

Tommy - Tommy's really my only threat on the course in the case of speed, sure he lacks control, but even so, I always have a problem keeping up with him when he's having a really good day, especially on Big Snowman or sometimes at Turtle Island! Needless to say his weight has a lot going for him in races.

Nancy - I'll be honest when I say that I hardly find Nancy to be a threat, in fact virtually everyone doesn't find her a threat...that said, this also makes her the "shot out of left field" that people fail to see when she does surprise everyone! I have run into quite a few races where she's managed to evade every attempt to stop her, whilst leaving us behind in an obstacle-heavy course while she weaves herself right through it. Her best skill? Simply the fact of being the most innocent of the group makes her unpredictable during a race!

Jam - Probably one of my biggest threats on the course, if not simply for the fact that he's got a lot of control of his board, also the fact that he can actually keep up with me if he's not focusing on beating Nancy specifically. Jam's a fierce competitor, along the same lines as Slash, but he does have the skill to back up his claims, at least when it comes to control. I think his specialty would be simply his expertise in boarding overall. He doesn't throw too much into how fast he goes, and pays attention to what's around him so he doesn't screw up. He's got an admirable strategy, I'll give him that.

Wendy - I've got to hand it to Wendy, she's got an excellent handling over her board and makes for one of the best trick-masters in Snow Town, but I hate to say that she has almost no chance in the case of a race. Sure she can control her board very well, but because she's light and focuses more on control, she barely even tries in races. I've yet to see her win a race through skill rather than just luck, I hate to say it about her. Her only saving grace, as far as I can see, is that she IS hard to hit if you are aiming at her. She can get a good jump, and if she's paying attention she's a difficult target.

Damien - Ugh, that little blue creep...where the heck did he get his boarding abilities? It couldn't have been naturally gained! He reminds me of when we raced Sinobin back in Ninja Land. He's mean and tries to pull out every dirty trick in every race he gets himself involved in. Not really much to say about his abilities, just that he's a dirty cheater.

Sinobin: Probably one of the hardest races I've ever been in has been with this ninja, he must have been practicing for years to get the type of tranquility he has when it comes to snowboarding. Let's also include the fact that he has the art of Ninjitsu on his side, which gives him some incredible just-in-time abilities! Simply his wide array of skills makes him a fierce opponent.

Ruby: HOW CAN I TAKE THIS GUY SERIOUSLY?! I swear, his pompous attitude and lack of impressive boarding skill make him a joke on the slopes! I personally think he does it just for the publicity, but even then I'm sure it's not the same publicity he's looking for! Granted he's pretty heavy like Tommy, so I guess if you wanted to give him some sort of credit, it'd be that he's got that body working for him, and that he's a pain to catch if he gets in the lead.

Pamela: Definitely a black sheep on the slopes much like Nancy, you never really expect her to steal the win from you, and yet she still manages to do it if you screw up in the slightest. I always have to keep myself on guard when she's competing more for the fact that I never know when one of her theatrical cues come in and she just pops there in front of me, you know? Speaking of that, that's what I find to be her best skill, she seems to always be able to pull herself out of a tight situation for the better.

Nicole: Even though I'm not at all friends with Nicole, I have to give it to her that she's definitely gotten some skill. She seems almost to be my equal, give or take. If I'm not dominating a race, she probably is. And the only way that'd happen is if I'm not racing that day. :lindamighty: I think her best skill would be...no, you know what? I'll let her say that herself, she'd probably correct me if I said anything.

                              And here's a bonus one:

Brad: The thing Brad needs to stop doing is giving himself that silly title, he doesn't need to come across like that when it comes to the slopes, harsh, dirty tricks are going to happen, and they always will while you've got those people out there. Furthermore, using those tactics helps to gain you the win in the first place, so why not use them? I guess with some of the other girls out on the slopes his gentleman-like demeanor does give him a bit of a following, but he really should consider broadening his horizons.

I think that pretty much does it, I could go into the newer kids as well, but I'll be frank, I don't know them very well, and giving a synopsis on Mr. Dog and Coach seems moot since they don't really compete much, they do it to have fun with the rest of us.

In regards to your next question, apologies for this being late, but never fear, I do my best not to miss a question!

In the case of my Halloween costume, it was a pretty simple thought process for it, yes I'm a Fairy as you can see there, I wanted to demonstrate that I have the speed and flexibility of a Fairy in flight. Check me out in the air when I have that on, it seems a bit like I'm flying, doesn't it?

In the case of my space outfit, Wendy fitted out all of our outfits, but I requested her to fit me in something more...pronounced so that I would stand out, but not stick out like a sore thumb. (The same can't be said for Coach, Mr. Dog, and Damien!)

In the case of Maltinie Co., I probably will end up inheiriting it, yes. I don't want to change much in how it operates since it's already so successful, but I do want to have it focus a lot more on sports, sponsoring a lot of them rather than just simply providing the equipment. We need more tournaments and such! If Brad takes it, that'll work too, I'll just focus more on my own goals and maybe even my own business, I do want to try boarding professionally though.

Maltinie Co. is guaranteed to thrive with you at its head! And you already have a professional level of snowboarding, yup!

Next question: have you ever met any of the other gang, the people who used to/still hang around here (Like Cleo, Lanche and Rick to name a few) , and if so, what do you think of them?

Other question, you're not going to get away with it heheheh!
Why does your castle seem to have two different mailboxes in snowboard street? Do you really need two of everything?

Question 1: I have met Cleo and Soniro a few times, Cleo kind of lurks nowadays rather than anything else, she's very quiet. Soniro's just as much a troublemaker as Slash is, if not more. :lindapissed:

The others...I maybe met them once or twice, but not enough to really generate an opinion on them.

Question 2: One of those mailboxes is for business-related mail, like for my dad and some of the servants, the other is personal mail for the family.

So the newpaper goes in the personal and business boxes? I don't know what there is in that paper but it seems important!

Seeing the way Lord Bolt talks to you, I think a nickname for him should be 'Linda's number 1 fan.'

Do you have an idea of what Ice Land, the area where you raced Damien, seemed to be? I have the general assumption it's some sort of combination between a amusement park and a exhibition zoo seeing the mammoth and another item, it being a plane from what I can make out of.

Also, do you support any good welfare groups with small donations, like for poor people or mistreated animals?

Goodness, so busy this weekend and no time was set aside for answering questions! Let me go ahead and sit down to answer these!

LordBolt Question 1: Actually, I was presented that statue to me as a present from my parents for Christmas. It's got a great likeness to me, wouldn't you say?

LordBolt Question 2&3: Hmm, I suppose I do collect the snowboards themselves. I also like to personalize any sort of snowboard that I find to really amplify my skills. Besides, I go through different design changes almost every race, wouldn't be fashionable if I always came to race on the same-looking piece of wood, now would I?

LordBolt Question 4: I have no idea why no hall monitor or self-respecting teacher will ever take that away from her! It's enough of a heart attack for many of the kids, but what if she really DOES hit someone?! I'm willing to bet she payed off the faculty to give her free reign over things like that, hmph!

Midnight Angel Question: Hahah, good to see someone else notice's my pretty face on such a valuable piece of currency! Yes it is my face, and you can thank the influence my family has over the local area for printing those finely-made coins. :lindamighty:

Moonwulf Reply 1: Goodness, it's good to have this much reverence over me again! So you all know, you all have control over your titles, just make sure to keep it clean. If anyone wants to consider themselves my #1 fan, all the better!

Moonwulf Question 1: If I recall correctly, I heard from one of my dad's and Mr. Dog's meetings that it was supposed to be a type of amusement park that eventually was shut down because of dangerous conditions. From what the building inspector mentioned, the "ice" theme was a bit too much, and slipping/sliding issues would promote a very big hazard to people visiting the place, plus the large falls would be bad news for some visitors.

Moonwulf Question 2: When we hold tournaments, we usually provide a fraction of the earnings generated from the event to independent organizations that combat terminal illnesses. I'm not at liberty to speak of some of those organizations, it'd seem like we're favoring one type of humanitarian group over another, you know?

Sorry for the mass of questions, but I'm trying to keep up the original deal of one a day, I can always slow down if you want to, even thought I'm sure you've got no problem keeping up to speed, it is your speciality after all!
Number 1 fan? Sounds cool, but isn't there auditions and stuff for such a role?

Onto the question: Do you have any fans in Snow Town? And where did you find all the people in the audience during your races? Do they show up just during the tournaments or do you always get an audience?
