Nice tips, makes me want to try it all seriously!

Question 1: Did you ever team up with Nicole and did something successfully with her, or would you kill each other before the end?

Question 2: How well do you consider the three attributes seen in the game, speed, handling and trick. Do you think all three are as important?

Question 3: How rich are you exactly? Are we counting in millions? billions? Do your parents give you access to unlimited credits or do you have a sort of allowance?

Question 1a: Depends on the circumstances, in all possibility, yeah, we could pull something off together if it meant we'd both get something out of it. If it were something small though, I'll admit the bickering would probably kill the whole plan.

Question 2a: They're a pretty good gauge as to every racer's attributes, but I do believe the trick rating is a bit skewed. For example, I am able to pull off a lot more tricks than people think I'm capable of, and also the fact that I can land most of my tricks.

Question 3a: The Maltinie Co. is a multi-billion dollar business, so our family, as well, has multi-billions in wealth stored up. And as for the spending, I'm given a decent amount as a form of allowance, usually within the $100,000 per month range. Anything I don't use goes into a trust fund for myself, as well as a savings account.

That's quite a lot of money, well... for us I mean of course!

Question 1: Did you ever manage to spend all of your allowance in a month, or don't you spend enough for that?

Question 2: Are you knowledgeable about new technologies? Do you keep up with your time?

Question 3: What's the highest peak around Snow Town, and how high is it? Is it used for your snowboard races?

Question 4: Wendy created the rocket propellor item? Who invented all the other weapons and items?

Question 1a: Plenty of times! Sure I get lectured a bit sometimes when I go over the limit, but I'm quite adamant about what I want, and I usually find ways to get it.

Question 2a: I'm usually pretty good about modernizing, it wouldn't really do me much good to stay the same and become all bland, now would it? Sure some things will not change, and we wouldn't want them too, like my personality for example.

Question 3a: The highest peak in Snow Town is Silver Mountain, we haven't actually gotten around to measuring it yet because it's very difficult to reach the peak itself. We do hold races along the sides of Silver Mountain, but it's virtually impossible to start from "on top" of the mountain, even Mr. Dog says it's dangerous.

Question 4a: To be honest I am not sure who made those, they've been there since even we started our games. They were brought into the games by Mr. Dog, but even he hasn't told us where they came from or who created them. One of Snow Town's many mysteries...

Gyaaah I'm terribly sorry for dissapearing for so long with no notice! This won't be happening again! Nope!
Lots of catching up to do, so here goes!

Question 1: What is your favourite season, if you have any? Any reasons for that?

Question 2: Did you ever lose a race on purpose to help someone else, to make them happy or something? Would you do it if it could somehow help your own goals?

Question 3: According to you, what's the hardest track you've ever tackled?

Question 4: Has Wendy come up with any new nifty inventions lately?

Question 5: Of all the other kids, who do you despise the most? Is it Nicole, or does another get on your nerves even more?

Question 6: Do you like cute things like Nancy does, or isn't that your kind of stuff?

I've got more to catch up, but I think I'll just stick them in with other days so as to not flood you too much at once. Sorry again for the absence!

Okay, let's see if I can answer all these well enough:

Question 1: Favorite season... While I'm fond of the Winter because of what I do, I'd say I fit mostly in Summer. Summer seems to be the time when I feel most comfortable, and of course it's Summer break time as well, so that's always a plus.

Question 2: I've thrown a race or two, sure. Not that I like doing it, but it's mostly because, well, when someone hasn't won for a good while, they do need a "pick me up" as it were. I haven't really acted on anyone by giving them a race, though the idea is intriguing.

Question 3: For me, it's got to be either Crazy Jungle or Ice Land. Crazy Jungle because the one way you can zip by the course fast enough takes a lot more accuracy to do so, and Ice Land because of so many obstacles that it always seems random as to who wins at that track. Even without Damien showing up every now and again, Ice Land is a pretty tough track!

Question 4: She's been working on something that transports everyone who's racing between their locations, it's a rare item that is supposed to be a lifesaver if you're in last place. She hasn't figured out all the bugs yet though, like a nasty one that puts everyone to where the person who used the device is...

Question 5: I really don't think despise is the best word for it, if you mean who annoys me the most, then it's definitely Nicole, though Slash does come in a close second. Jam occasionally annoys me, but at least he doesn't do it to the point where I pretty much "expect" him to act up every time we cross paths.

Question 6: There's some things that I like that are cute, sure. Cats, Horses, that sort of thing. I'm not as enthralled as Nancy gets when something cute shows up, but I do think some things can be really cute.

(Sorry for my delay in posting myself! I'm still around, Summer just cutting into my time earlier!)

Heh, you're still waaaaaay faster than I'll ever be! Look at that, i'm over 20 questions late now... Better start working on this seriously again!

Question 1: So if you fall off track, Mr Dog shows up with his balloon and gets you back to safety, but what would happen if several of the kids fell off the track at the same time at different places?

Question 2: Would you dare go back to the haunted house next Halloween, or are you done with that place once and for all?

Question 3: So why exactly do ghosts slow you down? Shouldn't they make you faster, to run away from them?

Question 4: Do you own any board that's more expensive than the Dragon board? Are any of your boards actually better than it?

Question 5: Are the slopes around Snow Town often crowded, or can you easily set a private race on one at any time?

Question 6: So how much are gold coins worth compared to other currencies?

Question 7: If you were to be an animal, what would you like to be?

Question 8: What happened to your unique personal tricks in the second game?

Question 9: Do you actually win more often than the other kids, or are you just on a good average, and the number of wins is even?

Question 10: Which of the kids do you enjoy facing on the tracks the most? What makes facing him/her better than the others?

                  Question Marathon, go! :lindalaugh:

Answer 1: Mr. Dog and Wendy have a good solution for that, to be honest you really can't tell which Mr. Dog is the real one since Wendy makes robotic copies of him for just this reason. Sure the real one does help, but Mr. Dog knows better than to think he can be in more than one place at one time. Wendy did perfect the AI on the Mr. Dog robots too, by the way, thankfully they have no chance of malfunctioning like the Snowman Robot.

Answer 2: Ehh... I personally wouldn't like to go back there because of all the ghosts, but I can see us going there again sometime on a dare or something.

Answer 3: The ghosts DO cause us to panic and want to get away from them, but the problem is that the ghost keeps appearing in our face, so going forward faster would be conflicting, it'd make us go towards the ghost faster, and we want to go AWAY from it. So really no matter what direction you turn, the ghost is there, and is there to scare you away!

Answer 4: The Dragon Board is the most expensive board I have at the moment, in the case of better boards, I personally find the Hi-Tech Board better, and it can be used well enough to rival the Dragon Board if you use it right. I would like to see a better board, sure, I'll certainly keep my eyes open for one better, that's for sure.

Answer 5: Snowboard Street tends to be easy to set up a race either during school, or early morning. In the case of all the courses, when preparing an official "race", we can usually set one up a day in advance. Sometimes crowding prevents it, but since Snow Town isn't all that crowded to begin with, we can usually find room.

Answer 6: Each of those coins used to be about $1.50, nowadays they range to about $1.10 with current currency rates. Give it a little more, and you'd be able to turn in 100 of them for a $100 bill.

Answer 7: For me, an Eagle. Why? An eagle is elegant, proud, and graceful. Further, it's a creature of the sky, looming over everything below it.

Answer 8: We wanted to try and design our own tricks a bit more, hence the lack of focus on "special" tricks. After looking at how it turned out, I do regret that we didn't put more effort into personalized tricks, would have been a lot more stylish to have them again.

Answer 9: I am one of the higher-average winners of the group, I think that's mostly because some of the others tend not to be as focused on winning, though. I do consider myself one of the most skilled of the group though, and I think that's proven enough with what I can do in virtually every game. :lindalaugh:

Answer 10: I like racing against Jam the most personally, he's not as competitive as Slash is, and Jam actually does test my abilities quite a bit in most races. The only time I tend to dislike racing him is when Slash is involved, as those two usually pair up and do what they can to cause me no end of trouble! :lindafrown:

Sad to hear they'd team up on you just for that. Really unfair, but I'm sure you still manage to win!

Question 1: How long could you stand staying in the same room as Ruby when he's boasting about himself (yeah always)? Could you stay longer for a dare?

Question 2: What do you consider as your best win ever? Where did it happen, and why is it your best?

Question 3: Do you own any of Shinobin/Kaede's boards in your collection, or are those unique models only they possess?

Question 4: How can there be several copies of the same characters in the games? Is that a game feature only or is Wendy behind it?

Question 5: As a demon, does Damien actually have any kind of power, or is he just fighting dirty?

Answer 1: I'd say at least an hour? I can easily boast along with him, but after a while the boast contest would get rather dull, and eventually I'd run out of things to say, whereas Ruby would attempt to re-assert his boasting, and I never really like going over the same topic twice in such a short period...

Answer 2: I'd say my first win at Silver Mountain. Why? Well, it's one of the hardest courses out there due to obscured vision and sudden drops, and the fact that I was able to overcome such a treacherous course and come out on top makes it even more of a successful victory for me!

Answer 3: I do have the Sinobin Special 3 (The sword board) board in my collection, but he wouldn't let me get a copy of the other two. I haven't used it yet, I fear I might offend that ninja if I started using it.

Answer 4: That's pretty much a game feature, I guess they wanted to allow players to have some method of balance in case more than one player choose the same character. Still, I find it very annoying seeing 4 Slash Kamei characters on the map...

Answer 5: Damien is a lesser demon, and as such he's only able to travel between the Netherworld and our world as a power. Other powers he hasn't developed yet, something tells me though we'll end up seeing more mischief from him if those powers ever do start showing up...

Here I have some questions that are hopefully not asked before:

1: If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be?

2: What happened after Damien got you with his bomb present trick and you all started to chase him down? Did you get him or lost him, and if the former, what happened to him?

3: Are you a fan of a certain person famous in your field of expertise, like snowboarding or fashion?

1: Perky. Why? I'm always upbeat, ready to take on anything, and I have almost limitless energy!

2: Slash and Jam got a hold of him eventually, and we exacted some much-needed revenge on that stupid little demon boy. He still hasn't really learned his lesson, but I suppose that's just the way it is.

3: The only one I can really say I look up to is my parents, really. Everyone else either is "not my style" or they just don't tackle the same things I do in the way that I prefer to. My dad I look up to because he takes charge of virtually anything in regards to the sport of Snowboarding. My mom I like for her fashion sense and strong will to handle multiple situations at once.

Sorry for the long absence, I've been kept busy and lazy. No good excuse not to post here, yup. I should really try and do it more often from now on... Anyway, onto the questions!

Question 1: Do you come up with the new track ideas? How does it work when you want to add a new track? Do you have to run tests and everything?

Question 2: Did you ever think of boarding at some place, but gave up because of security issues?

Sorry for the long absence, I've been kept busy and lazy. No good excuse not to post here, yup. I should really try and do it more often from now on... Anyway, onto the questions!

Question 1: Do you come up with the new track ideas? How does it work when you want to add a new track? Do you have to run tests and everything?

Question 2: Did you ever think of boarding at some place, but gave up because of security issues?

Question 3: Did you ever consider giving up after a bad series of losses, or does the fact of not winning only make you try harder until you succeed?

Question 4: Do you save your shot items for someone in particular, or do you use them regardless of who you can hit?

And now it appears I've kept you waiting, LordBolt. Been busy with work and stuff, here goes...

Answer 1: I came up with "some" of the new tracks, a good amount of them though were already built and introduced by Mr. Dog himself. Also, Coach did open X-Course to everyone, so that one's his idea. To submit a track idea, we mostly just all meet to bring it up and see if everyone agrees if it'd be a good track, also we need to make sure we don't get in trouble using some places as part of the track...Dizzy Land wouldn't let us use the roller coaster rails because it'd cause safety issues. Test runs are usually done by Coach and Mr. Dog, then we all are able to test it out ourselves too before we start a new race on it. Some tracks though we don't do test runs on though, like if it's supposed to be a "surprise" track, but test runs are MANDATORY by Mr. Dog and Coach to determine safety, difficulty, and overall balance of the course.

Answer 2: Plenty of times, there's been multiple tracks that have been suggested that fail the safety test, a lot of those tend to be suggested either by myself, or by Slash, for some strange reason...

Answer 3: I did at one point have a long losing streak, I felt I was losing my edge and was getting absolutely tired of the heckling I was getting from Slash and Jam, yes there were times during that, that I just wanted to snap my board and call it quits, but I felt that if I did that I'd just be submitting to a point that "I will not get any better", so I trained and got better, and eventually I broke my losing streak and went straight into a winning streak.

Answer 4: I use my shot items strategically, and try to use them up before I run into the next shop. I get a lot of money from how well I board, and I feel that if I pass up a shop because I still have weapons, I didn't use those weapons appropriately, so I use them as I need them. If I end up in front, I just ignore shot shops unless I'm fishing for a better shot weapon.

Answer 5: Shinobin may be a master of stealth and speed, but his biggest nemesis has always been the rock at the lift. I've found leaving a rock JUST BEFORE the goal, on the way to the lift, Shinobin will tend to fall for it since he looks for the most efficient route to the lift. If you have him on your tail, use it, it will keep him at bay for a while. If he's in front of you, bide your time, fire a weapon to decoy him, then fire again AT THE VERY MOMENT he begins to fade back into view. He won't be able to stealth right then again. Just make sure you'll hit him, because if you miss, the third shot, he's gonna stealth it.

Been a while since I've asked a question to Ms. Maltinie here. Let's see if this isn't a question already asked :lindalaugh:

On most occassions, you're wearing pigtails. Have you ever considered doing something else with your hair (cut it, dye it, wear it differently)?

                                  Hello Ms.Maltinie...

                                  What is your favorite movie?

mine is Beverly Hills cop with eddie murphy, man I love that movie.

Wow, had no idea that I had a few questions on file here! I better get to them!

Veertje's Answer: I've considered trying a pony tail before, or even just letting my hair down, though I have to admit letting my hair down makes it harder to deal with in the mornings. A pony tail though, I could possibly try it out, I might look pretty good in that.

Coolboarder415's Answer: Hmm, as of late? I've been a fan of the new movie Tangled due to its hilarity, and in the case of older movies this year, I was amused by Scott Pilgrim vs. the World due to the statement I felt it gave with the girl that Scott's been after but having to overcome the many trials and tribulations.

Once again, apologies for the delay in response!

I usually like to have get-togethers to talk with friends, if Nancy were here she could easily back me up on that. I usually have friends over at least 4-5 times a week, more if I'm scheduling events like races or parties.

I also like learning about my family's business, I mean, I'm likely going to be taking over the company later in my life, aren't I? It would do me well to brush up on it now rather than later.

Question 1: What exactly was the point of the Damien robot? With such a big and tough machine, all he did was race you down Ice Land? Sholdn't he have tried something more... I don't know... mischievous?

Question 2: What's your plans for 2011 then? Anything special you've decided on for this year?

Question 3: Has speed always been your greatest asset, or have you considered other styles before settling for this?

Question 4: Could you name some, if not all, the things you can do better than Nicole? Does she best you in anything?

Welcome back LordBolt, I'll answer these questions as best I can! :lindalaugh:

Answer 1: Damien really wasn't just looking for a race, he was looking to use that Robot after he would trash us to trash the rest of the Snow Town courses, Ice Land was just a starting point for him if he would have gotten his plans off the ground. Of course, the only thing he got in the end was his robot destroyed and his plans dashed.

Answer 2: I want to work on acing every course we've been to, win on each one in succession. I want to be the first snowboarder to get a perfect run on all the courses. It's been a long dream of mine, but I haven't been able to do it perfectly yet. I usually end up getting tripped on Quicksand Valley or Crazy Jungle.

Answer 3: Originally I was more out for balance, so that I would have no real weaknesses. The more I strive for that though, the more I began to realize that I was becoming just like Slash, plus I began to realize that giving a little slack to control in favor of speed gave me a bit of an edge over my rivals, so I ended up settling for a bit more speed. It may make me a little tighter in regards to control, but overall it makes me much more competitive.

Answer 4: Oh boy, here we go. I could give a laundry list of things I do better than Nicole! I'm better at school than Nicole, I am better looking than Nicole, I can snowboard better than Nicole, I am a better risk-taker than Nicole, my family's company is MUCH better than Nicole's family's company, the list goes on and on! I will give Nicole credit though for being better at "getting her way" better than me, she's so spoiled, where I can get things on my own. Given, I may not get my way as much as she does, but the fact remains, I can do a lot on my own.

You know, that's actually a VERY good question...

...I really don't know after all this time, perhaps it's something Wendy did? Perhaps Snow Town just has that effect on us? I could easily just say a wizard did it and be done with it, but it certainly leaves more questions than answers!
