I think this translation is not good. It looks like translated by a neglectful Czech person, put just like that ( lots of typos, grammatical mistakes and typical Czech words, you name it).

If you use i/y then you need to write them etymologically. If you don't do this, just write i everywhere.

The last example I think should be : instrumentam (Instr. plur.) like in Russian.

I've thought it would be interesting to translate some fragment of sensational novel.

English text: (1) Andrew Harlan stepped into the kettle. (2) Its sides were perfectly round and it fit snugly inside a vertical shaft composed of widely spaced rods that shimmered into an unseeable haze six feet above Harlan's head.
(3) Harlan set the controls and moved the smoothly working starting lever. (4) The kettle did not move.

Slovjansky preklad : (1) Andrej Harlan stupil v kotel. (2) Jego strany byli cělkom okrugle i prilegal plotno vnutri vertikalnoje šahty složenoje iz široko razstavjenyh prutov, ktore se razmigotali v neprozračnu mglu na šesť stop vyše Harlanovoje glavy. (3) Harlan nastavil kontrolky i dvignul dělajuču ravnoměrno startovnu rukojetku. (4) Kotel se ne dvignul.

I'm not sure how to translate exactly "shimmered into an unseeable haze" : any ideas ?

I don't understand why it would shimmer into an unseeable haze

Is it some kind of vapor? Or what?

Is it really to shimmer?
In this case, I assume, blěstěl v neprimětnų mglų. Or, maybe, blěskal. idk.
Maybe understood all wrong. So, all I said above may not right.

I guess it was because of high frequency
neprimětnų ? I wouldn't guess what it means.

Hmm… Neprimětny is on vocabulary of Interslavic. Also, both words has Serbian and Russian. I assumed if word is in Interslavic and also in so distant languages as… Err…
What if «nevidimų»?
