Regarding "more educated". That could be interpreted somewhat "self-lifted" (abgehoben). That way no naturalistic bridge-language term will be accepted by the "Otto-normal-user".

Well, but what is metering more? How to define "native"? "Nativeness" depends on regional "Verortung" (onsite bonding). Who has most broad regional, better pan-regional, onsite bonding? Business travellers? Backpackers? Gap-year lazy folks? Tourists? etc. Who owns the authority to determine which word is most perfect polished (most broad comprehensible) "international word" like, accredited term?

> So sure, whenever it is possible, let's have a Slavic word as well.

For sure. Please, don't let pass away Slavic heritage and identity! It such horror in daily use what English words are used instead of full working German words i.e. Basics instead of Grundlagen, Infopoint instead of Informationsstand etc. Even Deutsche Bahn changed their language policy: "Its not cool to name things English, if even English natives understand whats about".

How to define "worseness" (Schlechtigkeit)?

1. Worseness
Of course, "worseness" could be define in various aspects; I myself consider the word worse than a foreign if :
it's longer, harder to pronounce (< --- morphology), misleading or less precise ( < --- semantics)

2. "Nativeness"
Here, I think, it's about that various Slavic languages went their own way and once figured out their own local names for some new things (especially, many of them appeared in the 19. century) . Now, the word taken and flavourized, say, from Russian could be completely un-understandable by Poles and vice versa.
+ false friends.
"which word is most perfect polished"
the most perfect polished word is that is positively verified in the most Slavic languages; it needs to look good in each mirror.

Život je zaista mali melodičan broj
("A life is really a little tuneful number" by Ian Stewart, pdf)
