Me Hello, My name is Laura Spearman. I am wanting information on trappers/referees for your shoots. I live in Texas, but with the right Range and money, we will go anywhere. I recently worked for Jimmy (Pappy) Montgomery at the Regionals shoot locally at Caney Creek Lodge. I also worked for Centex OilMan shoot as a Referee Supervisor and saw over all 18 trappers. I have 15 that follow me. I am headed to Huntsville this weekend with 14 trappers to do the Shoot at Able's. where we will have 2 courses. At the Regionals 2014, I was over the Sub Gauge 28g and 410g, 20g pump, auto, and sxs, and also the super sport course. I watched over my 18 trappers and loved every minute of it. Jimmy told me I would make a great range manager but I don’t know what that consist of. I just know that I love watching the shooters, meeting new people, and training the trappers to do the right thing. During that shoot I also got invited to trap at the Browning Briley Shoot 2015 at Caney Creek Lodge and they said I would be over Trappers as I was this time. I also got invited to see over my trappers at The upcoming shoot at Able's in Huntsville this weekend. I have trapped for years, either for my mom or dad or son. They all shoot and my parents go all over shooting. My dad was the owner of Robinson range in Fairfield Texas where I worked many shoots and have realized I Really like doing it. I am certified and so are most of my trappers and the experience has done me well. My dad also owns a gun shop locally where I grew up at watching and learning about firearms and the safety you have to have to use one. I would like to know if you might have any advice you can give me on how to be a trapper/referee at any of the other shoots. This is something I love to do and enjoy. If you have any shoots you need trappers for, please let me know and I will get mine together and head that way. Thanks so much for your time, Laura Spearman
