Nice Doxa downunder.

I bought this used Schwartz Etienne recently. It has the Unitas (ETA) 6498. The dial is so big, I can actually see the minute hand moving.

They did a fine job of finishing the movement.

BTW. The difference between the 6497 and 6498 is that the 6497 has the subdial located on the same line as the winding stem and the 6498 has the subdial at 90 degrees to the winding stem.

I like this watch for much the same reasons as the Citizen below. It is large and legible.

Wore this one today (Thursday), a 1960 Omega Seamaster handwind dress watch. I just love the 3D Omega Seamonster on the back.

Friday I'm going with my 6306 beater with one of Randall's saphire crystals during the day and my 1930's? Rolex Unicorn (which unfortunately has the wrong hands) at night.
