Completely shutting down mind, along with senses, reveals senses you never suspected you had.
Reveals knowing, the likes of which the mind could never imagine.
Reconnects one with The Source.
Doesn't just recognise Reality, but becomes it.
"Squawk!" said the crow, and then made space.

The final thing that shuts down is what passes for awareness, itself.
The final act of doing: awareness of the breathing that crowded out all the other doing, and all the other awareness.
When that awareness of breathing also evaporates, then is the moment.
Stay, or run. Be, or flee. Gasp for breath, or die...

Choice, alone, remains, as the choice to relinquish choice.
God appears.

"Squawk!" said the crow, and then made space.

Wonderful stuff, this is critical information for those just wondering where meditation can take them. Into the void and back again, if you have the will for it.

Makes me want to get back into it seriously as opposed to irregular sitting.
