I have a very rare bust half dollar Overton and probably going to sell. Not a big group of collectors who are looking for such a coin but curious if anybody had any referral.

Not sure why I need to keep it a secret but it is a 1806 O-127.

An R-7 variety is a wonderful thing to have available. What grade is it? Raw or Slabbed? If slabbed, is it attributed already?

Sheridan Downey in Oakland, California is someone you might want to contact.  He is a leading specialist dealer in early half dollars.  An 1806 O-127a [the discovery specimen, in fact] was offered in his recent Mail Bid Auction 43.  It was a PCGS VF Details example with three unfortunate "X" scratches, and it was not sold.
The rarity rating for O-127 was lowered to R-6 in the current John Reich Collectors Society census for Pre-Turban halves.  A total of 13 coins were reported, the best being two examples graded VF-25.
Congratulations on ownership of such a rare die variety!

Sheridan also offers auction services I believe. Might be a good way to sell such a piece.  Seems that a PCGS F12 sold in 2008 for $9,775 at January FUN in Orlando (highest priced sale I could find in Herrman's AMBR of 2011)while an NGC F12 sold in January 2006 for $8,000 privately.  Higher graded pieces have sold, but they seem impaired in my opinion - porosity, scratches.  These are reported sales on O-127a examples.
