Why don't the central teams play each other twice in the regular season? they all struggle to find games, what could be the harm? If they mostly split with each other in even in down years they would have a chance to still be an 5-4 qualifier, it would also give each team 6 league games meaning they would only have to fill in 3 non-league dates, week 1and 2 and 9 i assume.

I will tackle the prep bowl question if anyone responses to this.

I think it is a nice thought and has probably been discussed in the past. however,  the possibility then exits to play a team three times, including prep bowl. A fourth if there is a playoff game?  I'm not sure schools want to do that. just my thoughts.

My idea would be to move the prep bowl to week 8. It would be a rotational rivalry game. So for example each chsl team would know before the year they are in the game, and who they are playing. Week 9 teams could find their own games.  so for the central for example one year it is CC vs Brother Rice, the next year it is DEL vs ST marys then year three it could be Brother Rice vs OLSM and year four CC vs Del

I've always said the best thing to do would be to move the prep bowl back a week, along with the PSL playoffs and bring back the PSL vs CHSL goodfellows game, and the rest would be crossovers between the two leagues.
I'm not arguing, I'm just explaining why you're wrong...
