I've just got a jrc tx 2g 1 man bivvy from border angling and first impressions are superb. The new hydra-tex 20000 material looks the business. The bivvy itself is 8.5 kg which is one of the reasons i opted for this aswell as having a removable peak and the front zips right off to make it into a brolly system.the bivvy is not massive but not small and the addition of the overwrap gives it an extra 2 foot ideal for weekend sessions. It also has back vents with mozzy panels for better air circulation as well as having mozzy panels in side windows and main door.It goes up in mins with it only having a 2 rib structure this helps on time and weight yet feels sturdy enough. The groundsheet is light yet feels thick material and the bivvy comes with its own sturdy pegs.A lot of equipment the bags let it down not on this bag has plenty room and made of good material.Overall first impressions i can't fault it i haven't tested outside yet but can't wait to do so.Thanks to mike at border angling for competitive price for money i think this is a winner ;)
