Hello Everyone! I've been idle around here for a long time. Retired last year, sold my house and moved to a new city. Anyway got my workshop set up and am building again.

Here is a vintage AMT 69 Torino Modified Stocker I refurbished.

Garner, happy to see you and the build. :))) It's all you, no doubt, love those steam rollers and the paint scheme. Thought you might be firefighting out west?

I'm kind of relieved, but thank you for your services to people. I honor veterans, but also the public servants like police, fire, prosectors, judges who sort of lay it on the line everyday too.

Anyway, thanks and glad to have you back! :)))

Have a few of those old AMT Modified Stockers scattered about in their boxes, but would like to find an "easy" way to put dirt track tread on those huge tires. Have plenty of extra tires on which to try something. Saw an article on how to create the dirt race tire tread, but that was in a magazine that is now over 45 years old and not sure if metal window screen is even made/used these days.
