Tomorrow will be his premiere event the 110m H....Will challenege our school record again but watch out as he is a decent discus thrower, Pole Vault and Javelin will be a first for him and the 1500m....he in great shape...Wonder what he ran the 400m in his consistent splits were around 51-53 during the 4x4...Wonder how high Spencer and Greene went in the High....

Monique Van won by 8 points. Great job Monique!! What a fun event. With so many colleges looking for Multi's, having a Multi clinic immediately following the state meet to teach proper technique and form for all the different events, then having a Heptathalon/Decathalon about two weeks later would be fantastic. Any interest should contact the coach at Cuyamaca JC. Doing something like this could be a great opportunity for more San Diegans to get college scholarships. I'll volunteer!!

I really like this idea and will share it with Coach Barton, Helen I have really appreciated your honesty over the years both in public and private but most of all you have always been willing to step up and help with things as well. Congrts to Nikki and Monique on a great competition.

With Arcadia and Mt. Sac Multi events San Diego can really start to step up in multi events..Only problem will be Javelin as only colleges have the room and safety precaution to do this. Grant Zebold did an awesome job at Arcadia and I think we have to give his youth program Millennium as well as his high school coaches for supporting and preparing him to compete. What someone should look into is having a javelin training for interested parties
