They actually did that for Saint Seiya Omega... 'upgraded' the Cloths to Clothstones, tiny accessories that the Cloths just magically appear from. The fandom hated it and wanted the boxes back.Celestial Tiger @ Mar 1 2015, 07:10 AM wrote: I tried, I really really tried to watch this. I think I've watched the first few episodes a few times, but I just couldn't get into it. For some reason the biggest turn off (and yes I know how petty this is) is the fact that he has to carry his armor on his back. A big box of magical, mystical armor and he has to carry it on his back. That just bugged me for some reason. Someone needs to get these guys some armor orbs.
There's also a reason for the boxes... apparently it trains their bodies when they have to carry something heavy as they travel. All of the boxes also have a picture on them to distinguish the constellation of the Cloth. You can't really put any 'identifications' on an accessory or orb.
"Hey, was that your armor or mine?"
It's also a lot harder to lose a massive box than a small orb. An orb could roll into a sewer and then the warrior is screwed.
