Hi,

I remember a while back Peter mentioned using a training aid that helped to show the swing path. I believe it was a laser that attached to the club shaft. Does anyone know what the name of that product is? I tried to do a search for it but couldn't find it.

I saw a new product called the Smart Stick that retails for $229. I'm hoping to find something a good bit cheaper.

Thanks for any info you can share.

The product that worked well for me was Freddy Connect. It's not a laser but a device that has two colored LED that attach to the club near the clubhead and clearly show path and squareness. I found the laser devices useless for full swing.

on your down swing with Freddy long enough
to give you a good idea about swing plane?
Seems like it would happen so fast, it would
be hard to see.

I'M thinkin about getting one and want your imput please.

You see the lights about 3' either side of impact. You don't see the lights during the beginning of the downswing if you're looking where the ball would be which is where you should be looking. Freddy is more of a path traininer than a plane trainer. For most I think path is more important. If the path is correct your plane will be as well.
