From what I have learned this is going to be the way things will remain. It seems the database export from one version of the board software to another is not seamless. I am investigating whether the export process of our former database to this new one can be tweaked such as to correct these issues. It is disappointing to me, especially given how often I rely upon linked content in lengthy discussions.
If that fails to work out, I guess we are stuck and will just have to press onward. As the years pass these older posts will be supplanted by the new and perhaps be only of interest to their original authors.
I was poking around the other night and discovered the links were broken. Also it seems all the little icon thingies were gone too. It was a bit annoying, but I got over it...cuz I'm flexible like that.
Oh Well. I hope to get my Windows laptop back from repair soon. It wasn't booting up and the repairer said he thought it was only the battery and he would get a new one.
