Has anybody else found that their private messages (inbox & sent folder) have vanished since Yuku suddenly became Tapatalk ?

You are unique but you are not alone ...

More annoyances: My contributions were - at least partially – reformatted, sometimes in an absurd way (I never wrote in verse form…) Links related to forum posts lead to nothingness ...
The search for keywords works only to a limited extent or not at all ... Too bad!

I got a mail in my personal mailbox that someone replied on a post of mine....

Next mail for your personal mailbox
:-)
... But this can be very useful ... If you don’t like it you only need to change the settings for notifications.

I had in my Yuku private (received) messages many information and links that I didn'n save.
Are they definitely lost or is there a way to recover them?

I was asking the same question.  Previously something similar happened to the Yuku messages for a brief time, then they reappeared.  Hopefully that will happen again.

I have posted on the Tapatalk support forum here:
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatal ... 99&t=36762
Though I am not convinced that "official" answers are written there.

It may be that the site owner has to submit a support ticket  (i.e. Mark has to click some buttons)...  or more likely, we have to wait like in airport baggage reclaim, hoping that we will be reunited with our belongings eventually.

To be honest I preferred the previous version (Yuku). Also my private messages have disappeared. In addition the "insert a link" tool is more complicated to use than the previous one, and the internal search engine is not perfect, because it is not able to find a lot of keywords from the posts.

Yet you still use it... 😉

In fact, looking at the current 'most recent posts' page, this is what I imagine you were doing this morning (replacing people with threads):

Hahah... Actually I was inspired by the Australian striker Archie Thompson and his famous goal machine against American Samoa...

Old private messages are now archived, see here:
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatal ... 37940.html

I just tried it, and I can indeed see my old private messages.   Note that the old forum name was "roonba.fr", so to log in at this archive your username should be e.g.  "nfm24.roonba.fr"
