The Swedish national football team played as the Swedish national ice hockey team for a friendly on 17 November 1924 against Italy's ice hockey national team in Milan.  Sweden won 6-0.

Djurgårdens football team beat Japan's national ice-hockey team on their 1953 Far East tour.

I've seen a few cases of touring football teams playing cricket (or sometimes basketball) vs host teams.

E.g. the Combined Oxbridge football team played Jamaica twice at cricket in 1938.

Or vice versa, e.g. in 1962 the Gloucestershire County cricket team visited Bermuda on a cricket tour, but included Stanley Matthews as a guest, and played one football match vs Bermuda (BFA).  Bermuda won 2-0.

There was also a match where the All-Blacks (rugby) played the All-Whites (football) in a sort of mixed match, which I think was mentioned somewhere on this forum.

Have their been any other instances of a complete national team in one sport counting as a national team in another unrelated sport?  I'm thinking possibly bandy in the early 20th century, but haven't found anything.

Only in the typo sense probably.

Just before the first football Currie Cup in Kimberley in 1892, the Natal rugby team (which had just participated in the rugby Currie Cup) played the Griqualand West football team, at football, drawing 1-1.

Guerin Sportivo issue 17, from 1983, reports a bizarre article about a football-rugby match played by "All Whites" versus "All Blacks" in New Zealand. "All Blacks" won the rugby match (30-6), while "All Whites" won the football match (6-1). Then, there was a rugby shootout sequence which ended 4-4 and finally, in the football penalty shootout sequence, "All Blacks" surprisingly won 4-3. Proceeds were devolved to Unicef. The picture shows Bobby Almond of "All Whites" during the rugby match...
