The agenda for the 2017 FIFA Congress came out recently. There's no place within the agenda that mentions nations that applied in 2017, so there's no vote, which I guess means no new nations will be admitted. Does anyone know who had applied in 2017 and what happened?

I'm pretty sure Sint Maarten and Zanzibar were planning on applying this year but I could be wrong.

Thanks for any input.

Isn't it just a placeholder title as part of their regular schedule? As in, the part of the meeting where they would discuss suspending someone if there was someone who could be suspended?

There is a full FIFA council meeting in the days leading up to the Congress on 11th May, so there is a chance that the agenda can be changed on the day of congress. I am hopeful that at some point FIFA will become the largest International federation (overtaking the International Volleyball Federation) with the admittance of the remaining eligible members.
