As the Falkland Islands or Malvinas are listed here, may I suggest adding Galapagos, Rapa Nui or Easter Island and South Georgia and the Sandwich Islands here for the sake of consistency?

You may suggest - but Falkland Islands is here as it is a recognised dependency with footballing activity of an international nature - the others are either constituent parts of other countries, or there is no international activity.

In any case, I suppose Galapagos would be more suited to Northern South America.

Rapa Nui is a "special territory" with international football activities.

I thought Rapa Nui hadn't yet engaged in international activity (just locally within Chile), have I forgotten something?

Obviously, people can still talk about Rapa Nui anyway, as indeed is happening now.

Anyone wishing to talk about Easter Island is (And always has been) free to do so in the Alternative Representative Football Forum :-)

Easter Island is administered under the Valparaíso province of Chile - therefore, it is not a dependency (as the Falkland Islands are).

I hate to call it out, but this contradicts itself.

If Rapa Nui is an integral part of Chile and not engaged into international football, shouldn't it be discussed in the South American sub-sub-forum of which Chile is a member?

It can be discussed there under Chile if so desired.

For those who wish to talk about it distinctively from Chile (competing internationally), it can be discussed in the Alternative Representative Football Forum.

No contradictions.  Just free choice.
